Luma is a sophisticated residential address that takes full advantage of its tranquil setting. Elegantly faceted balconies open out to Jellicoe Gardens and Lewis Cubitt Park, connecting the beautiful outdoors with the inner sanctuary of home. Luma sits proudly in front of Lewis Cubitt Park, the largest expanse of green space at King’s Cross. To the rear you will find Jellicoe Gardens, an exotic Persian-inspired hideaway created by Tom Stuart-Smith, an eight times gold award winner at the Chelsea Flower Show.
It is home to an expanding collection of specialist retailers and entertainment venues including fashion brands, chic boutiques and independent market stalls, creating a lively atmosphere with lifestyle and experience at its core. Not to mention an Everyman Cinema which is next door to Luma. It’s all brought together at Coal Drops Yard, one of London’s newest shopping districts, re-imagined by architect Thomas Heatherwick.

guide name: R GurungDon’t let the positive reviews fool you… Their enquiry system is garbage. They make a mistake only they can fix. You ask them to fix it and wait for a response. Weeks go by and still no response. Meanwhile, the short window to register for an exam is close and you can’t go through with it without their help.

Stafford House London
guide name: Mustafizur RahmanI recently completed my CELTA course at Stafford House London, and it was an amazing experience. Both Jean and Aida were extremely helpful, supportive, and professional throughout the course. They provided clear guidance, detailed feedback, and always encouraged us to improve. The course was well-structured, the input sessions were practical and interactive, and the overall environment was very positive. I learned so much about lesson planning, classroom management, and making lessons more student-centred. I highly recommend Stafford House London to anyone planning to take the CELTA course — it’s challenging but truly rewarding!

The British Museum
guide name: Andy SmithI have visited many times over the years and the museum always impresses. The exhibits are world class and everything is labelled with an explanation-discription so you know what everything is, where it's from, how old etc. There were several schools visiting including overseas school children which was nice to see. My favourite area (and it would seem many other people's favourite) are the Egyptian artifacts. There are many areas to explore and if possible give yourself lots of time. If you don't have very much time to visit then plan ahead and maybe decide what you would like to see first. You could actually spend all day there if you wanted to. A stunning place and definitely worth a visit.

Camden Market
guide name: zane cohenAbsolutely loved my first visit here. So much to see and do. The shops on offer are well stocked and so friendly. The food offerings are mouth watering. I thought it was all rather well priced and more importantly clean and safe. If you haven't been make a plan. Simply a must visit destination.

The Blues Kitchen Camden
guide name: Hazel TurnerAmazing food here! Really blew me away. Lovely, friendly and helpful stuff. Big thank you to Leticia for outstanding service! We had the mac and cheese (which was lovely), I had the brisket sandwich (which blew me away, it was cooked perfectly and had loads of flavour to it), and my partner had the fried chicken. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again sometime in the future!

Rosewood London
guide name: Our_Discoveries5My stay at Rosewood London was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided a warm welcome and outstanding service, reflecting the hotel’s world-class standards. The lobby is stunning — elegant, spacious, and filled with soft lighting that creates a sense of calm luxury. The room was beautifully designed, with a plush bed, elegant furnishings, and a marble bathroom stocked with high-end amenities. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged for maximum comfort. Despite being in the heart of London, the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, perfect for rest after a busy day exploring the city. Breakfast at the Mirror Room was a highlight — fresh ingredients, a great selection of dishes, and attentive service in a refined setting. Overall, Rosewood London offers the perfect balance of British charm and modern sophistication. It’s ideal for those seeking luxury, comfort, and impeccable hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again. 🌹✨

The British Library
guide name: MA library may not typically be on a tourist’s must-see list, but the Treasures Gallery at the British Library is well worth a stop on your visit to London. This free, permanent exhibition showcases some of the world’s most iconic works, including Leonardo da Vinci’s notebooks, Beethoven’s music books, the Beatles’ handwritten lyric notes, the Magna Carta, and the Gutenberg Bible - offering a rare chance to see these remarkable artifacts from across cultures and centuries up close. Highly recommended!

Charles Dickens Museum
guide name: Shadra BruceFascinating look at the life and lifestyle of Charles Dickens at the Charles Dickens home on Doughty Street. It was really fascinating waking through his home having just been at Mark Twain's home. While the two never met, Twain was a great admirer of Dickens and even took his wife to see Dickens perform. The two homes were occupied by the writers around the same time, but they were significantly different in terms of decor and modernity. Dickens had no plumbing (chamber pots and toilet chairs) while Twain had 4 ensuite bathrooms and gas lighting throughout the house. The furnishings of Dickens home were rather austere, especially compared to the opulence of Twain's home with its custom made sideboard, poster bed with angel carvings, and fireplace mantle. There is an elevator for those with mobility issues, otherwise there are several steps to get to each floor. Worth a visit especially for literature and history geeks.

Royal National Hotel
guide name: Simon CharreireVery good room, apart from the dusty heating and bathroom ventilation, we slept comfortably. The hotel is very well located and well connected, and we felt safe both in the area and inside the hotel. We were even able to leave our luggage there after check-out so we could walk around without being overloaded. A special shout-out to Facundo for his great service and kindness!

Premier Inn London St Pancras hotel
guide name: nelson anthonyI recently stayed at the Premier Inn London and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly smiles and helpful attitude. Check-in was quick and effortless, and the reception team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The room was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable — exactly what you need after a busy day exploring London. The bed was heavenly, the pillows soft yet supportive, and the blackout curtains ensured a perfect night’s sleep (no traffic noise at all!). Everything worked flawlessly, from the air conditioning to the free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a real highlight — fresh, tasty, and with plenty of choice. The full English was cooked to perfection, and there were lots of lighter options like fruit, pastries, and cereals. The dining area was clean and inviting, and the staff were attentive throughout. The location couldn’t be better! It’s close to major attractions, transport links, and great restaurants

Premier Inn London Kings Cross hotel
guide name: Dan WeatherleyStayed here for work recently. Check in process was extremely easy, there are Lifts for the room, but had some trouble finding the stairs on the way up to the room, I think the signs should be a bit clearer. The room fairly basic as are most Premier Inns, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower good once I worked out how to get it hot. There is also air conditioning in the rooms which is a huge bonus. The breakfast was pretty good, however the sausages were not cooked enough for my liking, but this is just a minor gripe. Lastly, the location is excellent, and is a stone's throw from King's Cross Station.

Holiday Inn London - Regent's Park by IHG
guide name: Thomas HagenWe stayed four nights as a couple over the weekend and had a great experience. Check-in and check-out were super quick and friendly. The hotel has a car park right below with direct access (managed separately, but easy to book online) and it’s close to public transport and Regent’s Park, which is lovely. Our room was clean and serviced daily, with very comfortable beds. Nice bonus: a Starbucks on the first floor, perfect for us since we usually just want a good coffee in the morning. Overall, fair pricing for solid quality – we’d definitely book again!
