The Circle Gym and Spa

guide name: Oliver Plomer-Roberts

A Hidden Gem to the max! Such amazing vibes here. Tranquil, clean, and quiet (almost unheard of in Central London). The gym has more than everything I need, the machines are top tier and still look/feel brand new. The spa facilities are also such a treat after a workout. I am in two minds - are the facilities or the staff the best part of the Circle Gym and Spa? I can’t decide! The staff are warm, professional, and always go the extra mile. A special shoutout to Lisa for being so lovely every single time! Very fairly priced for the service and facilities provided, and absolutely deserves 5 stars. For me, it’s hands down one of the best wellness spots in London. HIGHLY recommended. (Photo of the private area in the rain attached - it's even more beautiful in the sun!)

KCL really needs to sort out their replies to emails/phone calls. For the past few months, I've been emailing the admissions or calling to just understand the requirements of a course, and I've not been given a reply. It's really frustrating and puts me off from replying as it makes me wonder if their communication is poor with actual students who attend the university.

Great school, I’m in the school of Applied Science and so far all my professors have been amazing. Open to new feedback on how to improve (lectures and seminars etc) each lecture has uploaded slides and a video, the Lsbu library on Southwark campus is amazing. All the staff I’ve met have been so friendly, informative and patient. 10/10 overall. Best academic decision of my life.

Tower Bridge is absolutely stunning! One of the best spots to visit in London — the views of the River Thames are amazing. The exhibition is interesting and gives a good idea of how the bridge works. Everything was clean and well-managed. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in London!

Amazing! This was one of my favorite tours while in london. We bought our tickets which cost about $48. Place was packed. There is a cafe and a small gift shop inside, bathrooms of course. I would plan on spending at least 2 hours here if not 3. And then of course there's the crown jewels that speak for themselves. So much history here and so much to see I loved everything about this!

St. Paul's Cathedral

guide name: Sam Aberman

Visited midweek with friends and absolutely blown away by this place. Entrance fee (£28/Adult) is not cheap, but for me it was worth every penny. The cathedral is breathtaking - Wren's architecture is stunning with a restrained elegance that oozes history and power. We witnessed several ceremonies taking place which was incredibly moving (no photography during services, but being there adds such depth to the experience). The structure has three levels and every corner is fascinating if you're into history. The audio guide is excellent and really detailed. The climb to the Whispering Gallery is tricky with very narrow spiral stairs, but the views from the top of the dome are spectacular - 360° panoramas across London and the Thames. We had great weather so could see for miles. One of the best vantage points in the city. The crypt houses Nelson, Wellington and has a brilliant section on Christopher Wren and the cathedral's construction. Allow at least two hours to do it justice. + Coffee shop and gift shop at the exit. Absolutely thrilled we made the time for this - a genuine must-see London landmark.

Tate Modern

Overall liked the exhibitions, loved some rooms, disliked others 😂 Although I am not really a fan of modern art, I spent around 4 hours there. I liked most of the themes they chose and appreciated the descriptions of the artworks and artists as it helps to understand what they express, sometimes in very abstract ways. Some modern artist celebrities were underrepresented in the Tate Modern in my opinion, but thankfully they can be seen in other museums in London 😜 I was a bit surprised by certain rooms that had a lot of nudity or sexual aspects, especially because there were many young children with their families around … Concerning the Do Ho Suh temporary exhibition, I’m happy I got a discounted ticket, because the original price was too steep for what I saw, but it was a quick fun expo.

London Bridge

London Bridge is one of the most historic and recognizable landmarks in the city, standing as a symbol of London’s long and fascinating history. While many visitors often confuse it with the more decorative Tower Bridge nearby, London Bridge has its own unique charm and importance that make it worth a visit. The bridge connects two lively parts of the city on one side, you have the iconic City of London, and on the other, the vibrant South Bank with its restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. Walking across the bridge gives you beautiful panoramic views of the River Thames, the Shard, and the surrounding skyline. It’s a great spot for photos, especially at sunrise or sunset when the light reflects beautifully on the water. Although the modern version of London Bridge is more functional than decorative, it carries a deep sense of history. The bridge has been rebuilt several times over the centuries, dating back to Roman times, and it’s incredible to think how many generations have crossed this very spot. There are also plaques and historical markers that tell the story of the bridge’s evolution through the ages. Nearby, you’ll find plenty of interesting attractions such as Borough Market, one of London’s best food markets, and Southwark Cathedral, a stunning and peaceful place just a short walk away. The area is full of life street performers, cafés, and the constant flow of people make it a vibrant place to explore. Overall, London Bridge may not be the most ornate bridge in the city, but it’s definitely one of the most meaningful and historically rich. It’s a wonderful place to walk, take in the views, and appreciate a piece of London’s heritage that continues to connect the past and present of this incredible city.

What a beautiful beautiful view from that fantastic bridge. It's very good that no cars, so you don't have to watch that much for safety, you can walk from one side to the other side of the river to make pictures and memories from the fantastic views. It's quite easy to find the bridge, one end at the park from Tate modern, the other end at St Paul's cathedral. It was nice clean and quite busy when we visited. Definitely worth a visit.

Went Sunday and was amazing! Did go visit back in 2023 and missed so much. This time went earlier and with my Dad, brother. Such a beautiful ship and fascinating! Defintely worth a visit and Id even go again for the price and things to see! Managed to explore the Captains, Admirals Decks which I missed previously. The views and history were well worth the trip! My Dad and brother loved it 💜💜 Even had a bite to eat at the cafe which was well stocked with all sorts. Everyone was so helpful and an enjoyable trip in London!

Leadenhall Market is such a beautiful spot — the architecture is absolutely stunning with its ornate glass roof and detailed Victorian design. It’s a great place to wander around, grab a bite, or shop, with plenty of options ranging from cafés to boutiques. It can get a bit busy during lunch hours, but that just adds to the lively atmosphere. Perfect blend of history and charm!

Monument to the Great Fire of London

guide name: T Hartberg

The Monument, build to commemorate the 1666 Fire of London, is the kind of monument which these days are not being built. It has long inscriptions at the base of the tall column, but the main interest is the platform at the top. We reach this through a long spiral staircase which requires strong legs and good shoes. There is marvelous views across the City of London and the River Thames from the top. An attraction not to be missed.

What a beautiful spot. We were fortunate enough to stay on a boat there during a recent visit for our son’s wedding and would highly recommend a visit there. Restaurants are plentiful and there is so much to see and do in the area. The staff around the marina are very friendly and helpful and we look forward to visiting the area again.

It is a stunning building with a restaurant on top as the effective means for getting in. It does not have a public deck (free or paid) in the truest sense. You can walk around the entire building and it feels very externally accessible and grounded in the areas. 5 stars for architecture and the feeling, 4 stars for overall experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the location was perfect—within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops. Having a Tube station nearby was a huge plus, as it made getting around very easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the small convenience store in the lobby for essentials. There were plenty of elevators. The breakfast, which was available, was also enjoyable.

I went here for the first time for the Candlelight: Electronic Echoes (Best of EDM) event. The concert was amazing and the musicians were so incredible and talented! The performances brought an extra layer of depth to every song. The church is so beautiful and has amazing acoustics. The staff at the venue were not only welcoming and kind, which enhanced the overall experience. It was a memorable evening and would love to return here for another candlelight concert!
