Lloyd Park
guide name: ThanutchaknowlesThis garden is absolutely beautiful and easy to find. It’s located in a great area, and I was really impressed by the wide variety of stunning flowers on display. I’m from Thailand, and there were so many flowers I had never seen before—it was a completely new and exciting experience for me. I also loved the small lake, where we could see ducks, chickens, birds, fish, and other beautiful creatures. It’s a perfect place for a peaceful walk or a relaxing run. I especially enjoyed watching the ducks there—such a lovely touch to an already charming place!

William Morris Gallery
guide name: Erin YaggyThe William Morris Gallery is a HUGE asset to the community and world. I am a big fan of the Liberty fabrics that have popularized Morris’ designs- as far as I knew at least. As a person who sews, I have often admired the small bird stealing a strawberry… They even have a neon sign that you might notice with a similar idea in their tea room. When you walk through the doors to experience this FREE gallery- learning about the teenager who once lived in this neighborhood and became world famous- for his dedication to improving the world around him/ us. You can see how one person’s imagination and vision really might be able to make a difference. I love that this gallery is truly a community space- filled with people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. They have a great tea room- serving various pastries and toasties of all varieties- including their popular haggis and vegetarian haggis versions. They make a mean latte and pot of tea… Go ahead and check it out. :) It seems a good place for those on a walk in the nearby park, a warm spot for parents to come together before lunchtime. Definitely a place for all ages. They currently, as of October 2025, have a show to display the female designers within Liberty. When I say that I LOVE their shop- I mean it. They have a bit of everything there- from a postcard to large pieces of paper for any creative projects you want to try; they have books about the Arts and Crafts movement, they have embroidery projects, locally produced handkerchiefs that are (In my opinion) better quality than a certain big department store that carries similar things;) and at a better price… if you are interested- go check them out!! :) They have Christmas gifts for all of those people on your list too.

Nando's Walthamstow
guide name: Sybaris AliRecently visited Nando’s in Walthamstow and was not disappointed. We were on a visit to London, and decided to go here. The food and service were absolutely fantastic. Vivi, who greeted us at the entrance, was so attentive and helpful during service. The food itself was brilliant. So much better than other Nando’s locations, something which a few restaurants could learn from. We also tried a few new food items which we usually wouldn’t order, and they were excellent too! Hopefully we get the chance to come back again soon.

The Good Egg @eat 17
guide name: Tanya LakeI stopped at The Good Egg in Walthamstow Village for brunch and had the sabih / sabich pita with smoky aubergine and egg, a brilliant choice. The coffee was smooth, and the garden patio is a lovely spot to relax. Interiors don’t quite suit the cuisine, but the Middle Eastern flavours make it worth visiting.

Creams Cafe Walthamstow
guide name: NicolaI recently visited Creams Italian Gelato, and while it seems to be quite a popular spot — with a steady stream of customers and a lively atmosphere — I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. There’s no denying they offer a large selection of flavours, which is great if you enjoy variety. However, the ice cream itself was just ok — quite sweet but lacking real depth of flavour, especially considering the premium price point. For what they charge, I expected something creamier and more authentic in taste. Service was fine given how busy it was, and the staff were doing their best to keep up with the weekend rush. That said, the toilet was filthy, which really took away from the overall experience. I understand it was a hectic day, but cleanliness in basic facilities shouldn’t be overlooked, no matter how busy it gets. Overall, Creams Italian Gelato was average at best — decent if you’re just after something sugary and cold, but not the place to go if you’re after a truly standout gelato experience. With some improvements to flavour quality and hygiene, it could easily live up to the hype.

Burnt Faith Brandy House
guide name: Edmundo BungoExceptional experience tonight. The menu is small, so each dish is done to perfection, with out of this world brandy brewed on site. I'm online now buying a few bottles. The coffee liqueur outstanding. The team were all so passionate. A special shout out to Harry, who really smashed it out the park with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Easily the best restaurant and bar in E17 and one of the best in London. I'll be back next week, and the week after, and the week after that. Outstanding guys. X
