London School of Economics and Political Science
guide name: Marianna MolteniI had the incredible opportunity to attend a Marketing Summer School, and I can honestly say it was one of the most unforgettable learning experiences of my life. From day one, the atmosphere was inspiring and full of energy. The program was extremely well-structured, combining solid academic content with real-world case studies, hands-on workshops, and interactive group work. It wasn’t just about learning theory. It was about understanding how marketing works in the real world, across different industries and international markets. The instructors were outstanding experienced professionals and professors who were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about what they taught. They encouraged questions, open discussions, and creative thinking, which made every session engaging and insightful. What made the experience even more special was the diverse group of students from all over the world. We shared ideas, cultures, perspectives, and even future goals. The networking opportunities were just as valuable as the academic content and I still keep in touch with some of the people I met there. The location, the organization, the people, and the overall quality of the program exceeded all expectations. I left the summer school not only with more knowledge, but also with greater confidence, international friendships, and a clearer vision of where I want to go professionally in the field of marketing. I highly recommend this program to anyone who’s passionate about marketing, curious about global trends, and looking for an inspiring and meaningful summer experience. It truly was unforgettable.

Stafford House London
guide name: Mustafizur RahmanI recently completed my CELTA course at Stafford House London, and it was an amazing experience. Both Jean and Aida were extremely helpful, supportive, and professional throughout the course. They provided clear guidance, detailed feedback, and always encouraged us to improve. The course was well-structured, the input sessions were practical and interactive, and the overall environment was very positive. I learned so much about lesson planning, classroom management, and making lessons more student-centred. I highly recommend Stafford House London to anyone planning to take the CELTA course — it’s challenging but truly rewarding!

guide name: Ruslan HaidarI visited the university while they were on vacation, and it was well worth it despite the difficulty of getting there. The place is beautiful, and the university seems spectacular — definitely worth a visit. P.S.: There’s a coffee machine inside the campus for just one pound.

Sir John Soane's Museum
guide name: Rita PereiraAdmission is free, but you can purchase a guide for £3 - definitely worth getting, in my opinion. An incredible place! The Sir John Soane’s Museum is a one-of-a-kind destination that immerses you in the creative mind of this brilliant architect. It features fascinating items like the sarcophagus of Pharaoh Seti I and unusual design elements such as secret doors, moving panels, and skylights that maximise natural light. So, so worth a visit!

Barbican Centre
guide name: MThe Barbican is a sprawling residential and commercial district built in a grand brutalist style, both imposing and strangely beautiful. Recognized by Queen Elizabeth II as a unique and important development, it’s truly surreal to walk around and explore its maze-like walkways and concrete grandeur. I admit, I visited while tracking down filming locations from the Star Wars series Andor (and it’s also home to the London Symphony Orchestra, known for performing the Star Wars soundtracks!). The history and design of development itself are fascinating. Highly recommended for fans of architecture, urban planning, and Star Wars alike!

Rosewood London
guide name: Our_Discoveries5My stay at Rosewood London was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided a warm welcome and outstanding service, reflecting the hotel’s world-class standards. The lobby is stunning — elegant, spacious, and filled with soft lighting that creates a sense of calm luxury. The room was beautifully designed, with a plush bed, elegant furnishings, and a marble bathroom stocked with high-end amenities. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged for maximum comfort. Despite being in the heart of London, the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, perfect for rest after a busy day exploring the city. Breakfast at the Mirror Room was a highlight — fresh ingredients, a great selection of dishes, and attentive service in a refined setting. Overall, Rosewood London offers the perfect balance of British charm and modern sophistication. It’s ideal for those seeking luxury, comfort, and impeccable hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again. 🌹✨

The British Library
guide name: MA library may not typically be on a tourist’s must-see list, but the Treasures Gallery at the British Library is well worth a stop on your visit to London. This free, permanent exhibition showcases some of the world’s most iconic works, including Leonardo da Vinci’s notebooks, Beethoven’s music books, the Beatles’ handwritten lyric notes, the Magna Carta, and the Gutenberg Bible - offering a rare chance to see these remarkable artifacts from across cultures and centuries up close. St. John
guide name: Joseph YasmehWas drawn here after hearing this is many a persons favorite restaurant, including Anthony Bourdain. My criteria for a great restaurant are few: delicious, attentive service, and most importantly, creative flavors I can’t or haven’t easily replicated at home. St. John meets all of these. I particularly appreciate the ethos behind the ingredients, the personable service (shout out to June!) , and the unpretentious ambiance. It’s a bit ironic coming from someone who was once vegan. For fun, I’m gonna give a dumbed down explanation of what I tried. (I’m American, so I’m allowed to be dumb.) Bread: unusually good, nicely chewy Pickled herring: quite well done, not too fishy. It’s toast with fish, sauce, and pickled stuff. Eat the top slice of fish separately because you can’t fit it all in your mouth. Terrine: gamey, which I like. Like a square cold salami. Roast bone marrow: the classic. Fun to eat. Marrow has a subtle flavor. Don’t expect the intense flavor of cabeza. Roast middle white: very good. Like a pork steak, with crispy skin on outer edge. Prune sauce was pleasant. Ox tongue with beet: pleasantly salty, the roast middle white is more substantial. This was two thin slices. Madeleines: divine. I got these with a cup of milk and it was fantastic. Now, were any of these dishes so delectable that I’d come back just for one of them? The madeleines, yes. The bakery is phenomenal—I’d go more dessert heavy next time.

Charles Dickens Museum
guide name: Shadra BruceFascinating look at the life and lifestyle of Charles Dickens at the Charles Dickens home on Doughty Street. It was really fascinating waking through his home having just been at Mark Twain's home. While the two never met, Twain was a great admirer of Dickens and even took his wife to see Dickens perform. The two homes were occupied by the writers around the same time, but they were significantly different in terms of decor and modernity. Dickens had no plumbing (chamber pots and toilet chairs) while Twain had 4 ensuite bathrooms and gas lighting throughout the house. The furnishings of Dickens home were rather austere, especially compared to the opulence of Twain's home with its custom made sideboard, poster bed with angel carvings, and fireplace mantle. There is an elevator for those with mobility issues, otherwise there are several steps to get to each floor. Worth a visit especially for literature and history geeks.

Royal National Hotel
guide name: Simon CharreireVery good room, apart from the dusty heating and bathroom ventilation, we slept comfortably. The hotel is very well located and well connected, and we felt safe both in the area and inside the hotel. We were even able to leave our luggage there after check-out so we could walk around without being overloaded. A special shout-out to Facundo for his great service and kindness!

The Wilmington
guide name: Steve RalphThis was my venue of choice for our Sunday lunch before leaving London to head home. May I pat myself on the back? A cracking old pub serving excellent food, across our group we had three different roasts with all of them receiving praise. The service was brilliant and I really have nothing but praise for the staff, food and drinks. Try it out.

Premier Inn London Kings Cross hotel
guide name: Dan WeatherleyStayed here for work recently. Check in process was extremely easy, there are Lifts for the room, but had some trouble finding the stairs on the way up to the room, I think the signs should be a bit clearer. The room fairly basic as are most Premier Inns, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower good once I worked out how to get it hot. There is also air conditioning in the rooms which is a huge bonus. The breakfast was pretty good, however the sausages were not cooked enough for my liking, but this is just a minor gripe. Lastly, the location is excellent, and is a stone's throw from King's Cross Station.

St Bartholomew the Great
guide name: AnonReally enjoyed visiting this priory church recently. It is very striking and impactful. The church was used as a filming location for the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral. Just before you enter the church grounds, don't forget to take a look at the house on 41/42 Cloth Fair (see photo). It is the oldest house in the City of London. Built between 1597 and 1614, it is the only house in the City of London to have survived the Great Fire of London in 1666.
