London Aquatics Centre

guide name: Eleena PK

Great aquatic centre, with an Olympic size pool. Have been here for few swimming competitions with my son and all the time we had a great time. Comfortable seats with a great view of the main pool and the diving pool. Parking available but we never used the parking of the place because we used underground to get there. During holidays inflatables are usually a great attraction. All the time return to the place with pleasure.

Newham College (Stratford campus)

Very unorganised with a high turnover rate for staff. They had lockers in which I had used for almost a year however during last summer they got rid of them all without notification. I had over £100 worth of equipment. I also had a lock installed for extra security. When I contacted Glen (Director) via email his response was ''Used at your own risk''. Until now there has been no solution to the problem. Lack of responsibilty and care for students. There was also another more serious incident involving a teacher and the outcome for that was ''It has been dealt with''. How exactly only god knows. Avoid at all costs guys and go somewhere else with a good reputation.

Impact IT Training

I completed 3 courses with Impact IT Training so far, and passed my CompTIA A+, which I'm very happy about! I am currently studying for my Azure administrator exam here too. The courses I did were intensive, so the pace was fast. The trainers were very supportive and helped me to pass my exams. Noman taught me CompTIA A+ and he was a very kind teacher. His lessons were very comprehensive and he made sure the students had all the materials to understand the courses fully. I would recommend Impact IT Training to anyone wishing to pursue an IT-related career.

ABBA Arena

Absolutely amazing. The light show is fantastic but it’s the concert that seems so incredible it plays with your mind, in a good way! I would go again tomorrow and if you haven’t been don’t miss out because come May 2026 it will be gone. Also as a disabled visitor, the venue was amazing making it so easy for me and my friends to attend, from booking to the free disabled parking , through to seating. More places should follow their example. FABULOUS

London Stadium

guide name: Efe Zeybel

A beautiful stadium located in a slightly distant part of the city, yet still quite accessible for those living nearby. It’s a very large venue, but since it’s an Olympic stadium, the viewing experience is quite poor — you’re too far from the pitch and the action. Playing football in an Olympic stadium is truly a disaster for the sport. The food areas are nice and offer plenty of variety, and the shopping mall right next to it is a great detail for spending time before or after the match.

Zip World London at ArcelorMittal Orbit

guide name: Cire Zhu (Cire)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I visited the ArcelorMittal Orbit on the afternoon of November 2nd, and it was absolutely amazing! The view from the top is breathtaking — honestly one of the best places to visit in London for photographers. The environment was spotless, and even the background music was so tasteful that it made the whole experience feel relaxing and elegant. I ended up staying until they closed because I just didn’t want to leave! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back next time with my friends — highly recommended!

Wahaca Stratford

guide name: Rich Deerdog

I’d heard of this chain previously but had allowed myself to be put off by a general distaste for the person who recommended it. Foolish of me. I learn. He was someone who never tipped though, so you can understand the sentiment. Anyhow, staying in Stratford for a couple of nights and this place was very near my hotel (Hyatt) – I love Mexican food and, from what I could see through the window, it looked very tasty. I thought therefore I’d give it a go. The interior of the restaurant has a faux industrial/rustic vibe going on, with exposed rebar (I like a bit of exposed rebar) and mismatched seating, some of it sunken in the manner of the 1970s. The restaurant is brightly lit, which is a good thing as there were several steps. The kitchen is semi-open and raised, so you can see the food upon the pass. Nice to see. The only negative for me was a big painting of sweetcorn on the wall – I have a visceral dislike of sweetcorn. This is a personal thing though and shouldn’t put you off visiting. For some reason the sweetcorn is multicoloured and is being visited by a large honeybee, I didn’t understand that. Service was quick and efficient, and the waiter tried hard to interest us in the special – normally I would have jumped at this as the special was Birria (I love Birria), but it was a sort of sandwich thing and I wasn’t in the mood for bread. I find bread is a mood these days, whereas once upon time I couldn’t get enough of it. Interesting how we change as we age. I ordered a Diet Coke for my drink, as I continue to offer respect to my liver ahead of the festive period. The menu is interesting, it isn’t divided up in a traditional way – starters, mains etc. You have some small things as like pre-dinner snacks, then some small plates, then some large plates, some sides and some random things that don’t fit anywhere. You can design your meal. I like this, but I know some it would not sit well with. Anyhow, given that choice I thought I’d have a double helping of tacos, because tacos are life. Beef Gringa and buttermilk chicken – these were very different, the beef was saucy and rich, the chicken was fried and crisp, both adorned with loved accoutrement. Impressive tacos, I really enjoyed these and would certainly order them again. Whilst dining, I saw a burrito being eaten at the next table – it was huge – I’m glad I didn’t order that. I thought I’d break tradition and have a pudding here – this was mainly because they have combined two of my favourites into a single dish with a marriage of tiramisu and a tres leches cake, to create a tres leches tiramisu. Gosh this was rich, delicious, creamy and rich. Beautiful, sweet pudding, I could have had this again and again. Definitely have this if you visit. Overall, a successful visit and the price was more than reasonable for such tasty food – I would recommend a visit here. Two paws up. Don’t let yourself be put off trying things, give it a go. Dining in Stratford is a strange experience – I prefer these restaurants that are ‘outside’ of the shopping centre rather than clustered together around it’s internal food market area. Better opportunities for people-watching.

CRATE Brewery & Pizzeria

guide name: Eleanor Cook

I love Crate and have been coming here for years. The pizza is great and the drinks are really great! There are multiple alcohol-free options which is good for me, and it's super easy to make changes to your pizza choices! Sitting along the canal is always so lovely and the buzz of conversation is so nice. However, when you get to the evening, the music is turned up so uncomfortably loud and it's really hard to enjoy yourself after that. If the weather isn't amazing, you want to be inside or under the heaters, but if you're there, you can't hear yourself think, let alone the person next to you! We've had to leave multiple times because the music was too loud! This is a pub, not a club!

Nando's Stratford

guide name: MD AMINUR RAHMAN

I recently visited Nando’s stratford and overall had a great experience. The food was excellent – fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The restaurant was quite busy and a little crowded, which may have contributed to the service being a bit slow. That said, the staff were friendly, and the lively atmosphere made it enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving delicious chicken!

What makes it great? Well Iron Maiden Obviously. But it’s welcoming to everyone, whether metal head or looking different. Food is definitely value for money and they have a good range of drinks. Give it a go. No means a regular but it’s the heart of Maryland and people love it. Also good entertainment.

Discover Children's Story Centre

guide name: Kamila Rahman

Creative, imaginative and full of wonder from start to finish! My children were completely absorbed in the storytelling trails, exploring the enchanting spaces and letting their imaginations run wild. The interactive exhibits are beautifully designed, and the outdoor story garden (complete with a spaceship!) was a big hit. It’s the kind of place that brings books to life and makes learning feel like an adventure. The only reason for four stars is that the space felt a bit limited.

Genting Casino Stratford

All the staff are truly amazing — they are always friendly, professional, and ready to help with anything I need. However, I’d especially like to highlight Egija, who consistently goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. She always greets everyone with a warm smile, which instantly makes the atmosphere more welcoming. No matter how busy things get, she remains calm, patient, and approachable, taking the time to listen and ensure that everything is sorted out efficiently. Her positive attitude and dedication really stand out, and it’s clear that she genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. It’s always a pleasure interacting with her, and she’s a big part of what makes the whole team so exceptional.

Stratford Park

guide name: Arif Khan

Whilst the park is good, the issue is the lowlifes sitting on the benches drinking and smoking pots all day which makes it miserable for families to visit this park. It has a lovely tennis court and a so and so children's play area but overall its a risky one, best to be avoided unless the council spends some money on putting some surveillance to the very least. There should also be some frequent presence of the police. It's a shame but that's how it currently is.
