London Business School

guide name: Amrit Das

London Business School — Is it worth it in 2025? An honest review. Body: London Business School remains one of Europe’s most powerful launchpads for global business careers. With an international cohort, deep ties into London’s finance and consulting ecosystem, flexible MBA formats and a prestige brand that still opens doors, LBS delivers strong employment outcomes and a network you’ll use for life. But these benefits come at a premium: tuition + London living costs are high, admissions are fiercely competitive, and you should be clear whether LBS aligns with your target geography and industry. In short — choose LBS if you want global exposure, elite recruiting channels and an international alumni network; look elsewhere if you’re budget-sensitive or targeting a local market where LBS brand carries less weight.

The Regent's Park

guide name: Michael Ns

Regent’s Park is a beautiful and spacious park in central London, perfect for a relaxing walk, a picnic, or just enjoying nature. The rose gardens are stunning in bloom, and the wide open green spaces make it feel peaceful even on busy days. There are also plenty of benches, a lake with ducks, and views that change beautifully with the seasons. Whether you're going for a jog, meeting friends, or just clearing your head, it's a lovely escape from the city buzz without leaving London. A true gem!

Madame Tussauds London

Had a good time with family, spent around 2hrs at the venue.kudos to the entire team for excellent crowd control. Around 80% of the wax statue look stunning and fantastic, rest felt like a dummy one. The special attraction was "Spirit of London" ride, which is a themed taxi ride through the city's history, and not a conventional train ride. The ride uses iconic black cabs to take visitors on a 5-minute journey through London's history and cultural events which also includes wax figures, immersive exhibits, and a 4D cinema.

I had a wonderful experience visiting London Zoo! The entire place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with no unpleasant smells anywhere — which made the visit even more enjoyable. A special highlight for me was the Butterfly Paradise 🦋 — truly living up to its name! Walking among so many beautiful butterflies felt magical, like stepping into a real paradise. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful, always ready to answer questions and guide visitors with a smile. Highly recommend visiting — whether you’re with family, friends, or solo, London Zoo is an amazing and refreshing day out! 🌸🐒🦓

Lord's Cricket Ground

guide name: Pooja Patel

Attended the Lord's museum and stadium tour as part of an event through my work. David, the tour guide was exceptional. He was engaging, funny, witty, and super informative. It's a shame it was in the evening as it was too dark to see the grounds properly but still worthwhile. Our tour finished with a little intro into cricket training in the ICC with some of the coaches, who were also really good. This was so much fun. Thank you!

The Sherlock Holmes Museum

The Sherlock Holmes Museum is an absolute must-visit for fans of the famous detective. The house at 221B Baker Street is beautifully recreated, full of authentic details and memorabilia that bring Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories to life. The staff are friendly and in character, which makes the experience even more immersive. Walking through the different rooms feels like stepping straight into the world of Sherlock and Dr. Watson. It’s a charming and unique museum that captures the spirit of the stories perfectly. Highly recommended for both fans of the books and anyone interested in a piece of London’s literary history!

The SeaShell of Lisson Grove

guide name: Salim “SalC6” C

One of the best fish and chips in London. I've been meaning to try this place for years and finally got around to it. The restaurant has two parts. One part a normal fish and chip shop with casual seating and a posh restaurant part which is very ornate and tastefully decorated. I sat in the normal part. Ordered small Cod and Chips and a beef (halal) sausage. The chips were cooked to perfection and you can tell they were fried in clean oil. Cod had a crispy batter and inside the fish was tasty and moist. The beef sausage was also nice and tasted better quality than your usual beef sausage. The posh part of the restaurant was very nice and the menu looked reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

Globe

guide name: Sam Aberman

Popped in to The Globe with a couple of colleagues midweek and found this historic pub surprisingly peaceful compared to its usually bustling atmosphere. The venue still maintains that authentic British pub charm that's increasingly hard to find in central London. Football matches were on but without overwhelming the space - perfect for keeping an eye on the score while still having a conversation. Reasonable drink prices considering the prime location opposite Baker Street Station. Their selection of independent beers on hand pumps is quite good. The pub was clean and well-maintained. There's a nice outdoor seating area, though we opted to stay inside on this visit. Perfect spot for a relaxed drink if you're near Madame Tussauds or the Sherlock Holmes Museum. I'd definitely return when in the area - particularly for that peaceful midweek atmosphere that's rare to find in such a central location.

The Engineer

I went with friends for a Sunday roast and had the chicken with crispy skin – absolutely delicious! The starters, like the beetroot tartare, were fantastic as well. The service was excellent – Mar and Anastasia did a great job, and the chef Juan even came to our table to check if everything was fine, which was really nice. I’ll definitely be coming back here again.
