London South Bank University
guide name: Ella NoraGreat school, I’m in the school of Applied Science and so far all my professors have been amazing. Open to new feedback on how to improve (lectures and seminars etc) each lecture has uploaded slides and a video, the Lsbu library on Southwark campus is amazing. All the staff I’ve met have been so friendly, informative and patient. 10/10 overall. Best academic decision of my life.

Camberwell Leisure Centre
guide name: Dom HowardThis is an excellent gym. It has a full range of equipment and because it's not too crowded I never have any problem getting on to a machine or using the weights I need. I use a PT there (Gleicio) who is superb; highly professional, knowledgeable, motivational but also friendly. I'm so much stronger now, and he's transformed the way I train. I'd recommend him to anybody who is serious about their fitness and strength.

London School of Commerce (LSC)
guide name: Michael ỌmọlọlaThere are friendly men at the reception. All staff attended to us prospect students and ready to help with information and directions we required. The interviews were well organised as there was quite a number of us and there were enough personnel so we did not have to waste time waiting. Lavatories were well maintained.

Imperial War Museum
guide name: David MastersBrilliant throughout, lots of space, although it does get busy. The cafe sells quality produce at a price, great seating area. The toilets are clean, but the hand-wash facilities need attention, it takes twice as long as it should to wash your hands, water is temperamental, soap, good luck, and drying, you'll be better off blowing them dry. However it was a great day out

The Kia Oval
guide name: Jayesh MohaneWent to watch Day 4 of the England vs India Test Match at The Oval—what an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was incredible: a mix of passionate cheers, playful boos, and constant energy from the crowd. You could really feel the tension and excitement with every ball. The view of the field and players was excellent, and it was easy to stay immersed in the game. There were plenty of laughs and friendly conversations with fellow fans—people around us were super welcoming and happy to chat cricket. There’s a wide variety of food and drink options, from classic fish and chips to Indian food, masala tea, beers, ciders, and soft drinks. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but that’s expected at a stadium, and the quality is solid. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. A fantastic spot to enjoy a day of cricket! The Oval really delivers when it comes to creating a lively, memorable day out. Highly recommend catching a match here!

The View from The Shard
guide name: Kaveeraj LingiahWe visited The Shard the other day, and it was the highlight of our central trip. Getting there was simple; the entrance is well-signposted near London Bridge station. The staff managing the access were incredibly helpful, and thanks to having a Blue Badge, we were given priority access and moved straight through to the high-speed elevators without any wait, which made the start of the visit wonderfully stress-free and smooth. This level of accessibility service was much appreciated. We were lucky enough to book tickets for just before sunset, and the view as the city transitioned from daylight to twilight was magical. From Level 69, we had a perfect, sheltered view of the winding Thames, Tower Bridge, and the Gherkin. Heading up to the open-air Level 72 felt like being on top of the world—it was breezy but totally worth it for the 360-degree experience. The whole space was clean, and while there were people, it never felt overly crowded.

Cubana - Bar-Restaurant
guide name: Sylvia ChoiAt the end of Lower Marsh street, Cubana has a large inside and covered outside sitting area. We ordered a Cubano sandwich and the Mixed tapas sharing plate, which came with: - a dressed small salad with tomatoes, onions, bell pepper, and greens - pollo frito con sesamo, a fried chicken cutlet with side of salsa - falafel cubana, like a savory hush puppy or chickpea fritter - pincho de pollo y chorizo, a skewer of marinated chicken, chorizo (more like a yummy meatball), grilled onion, grilled peppers My favorites were the skewer and the battered and fried chicken cutlet. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked perfectly so it was juicy.

Burgess Park
guide name: Indra WibawaSpent the afternoon playing tennis at Burgess Park, and it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made this week. The courts are set against a backdrop of open greenery, and with the sun out, the whole space had a really clean, refreshing vibe. The blue surface of the court contrasts beautifully with the surrounding park — it almost feels like you’re playing in a postcard. After a good match, I walked over to a nearby coffee shop just off the park. It’s a small, quiet spot with outdoor seating, perfect for cooling down. I grabbed an iced latte and sat back, watching the late afternoon settle in. Between the match, the scenery, and the coffee, it was the perfect mix of activity and downtime. It’s wheelchair friendly!

guide name: Sean CoughlanI had an outstanding experience from the moment I arrived. Wail at the front desk was exceptional — polite, professional, and genuinely caring. Check-in was fast and effortless, setting a really positive tone for my stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering great value for money. Everything felt fresh, organised, and welcoming — exactly what you want after a long journey. Overall, a perfect combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Big thanks again to Wail and the team for making it such a smooth and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Kennington Park
guide name: REGVery Pleasant park to stroll, take the air, play a quick game of frisbee, and sample some local Sourdough pizza within on a sunny September monday eve. I imagine this park is also pleasant on other days and potentially in other weather conditions but nice weather always helps you enjoy a park I find. There are a range of facilities in this park including Collective; a nice cafe offering pizza and Ice cream, and some ping pong tables. These tables were very busy when I arrived and stayed busy until the end of the eve, precluding me from indulging in a quick game.

Novotel London Waterloo
guide name: Nanna Skaarup AndersenWe booked a Superior Room with Queen-size bed and twin convertible sofa, 2 adults and 2 children aged 14 and 11 for 5 nights. The room was not large, but accommodated our needs and nice. Especially the sofabed was actually good to sleep in, we have tried much worse. There is filtered water in the hallways which is also nice. Although the one on our floor was out of order. The hallways/corridors are a bit tired looking with the wallpaper damaged. But there is no funky smell 😁 The service is very good. It seems the staff really likes working here and this rubs of the atmosphere. They are quick to accommodate your need. Location is good. Big Ben is just around the corner. Public transport is good, with buses just outside the hotel and the Lambeth North Station 10 min walk and 15 min to Waterloo Station. Overall we have been very satisfied as a family with teenage kids touring London

Tally Ho ~ London Bike Tours, Taxi Tours & Pub Tours
guide name: Kurt SpurrierKatie was an increíble bike tour guide and made my visit to London interesting and fun! She not only looked amazing in her outfit that turned heads as we biked, but provided music, stories, historical and architectural information, and even spray paint for us to use on the graffiti walls. She made sure we were all safe while effortlessly getting us through the city. I highly recommend Tally Ho and Katie!

M.Manze Tower Bridge
guide name: James KwanAll round, it was a good place to have a fast food meal. Beware the toilet paper dispenser, though. 2 pies, 1 mash for under £10. I had gravy, and liquor in a pot. Steak mince pies were tasty, good gravy. Good pastry, which is the most essential thing for a pie. Mash was a good consistency - not too smooth like pomme purée. The liquor was also much better than some other places in London where it is thickened to a lumpy, glutinous mess. But, could have done with more parsley taste. Add salt and vinegar to taste. Service is very quick. Time between ordering and receiving the food is under a minute. Toilets, upstairs were clean, though the toilet paper dispenser is a nightmare to use. It is a centre-feed type and it jammed twice during my visit. Bring some of your own toilet paper if you're worried. It's worth going both as a tourist and a regular cheap meal.
