Nuffield Health Wandsworth Southside Fitness & Wellbeing Gym
guide name: Noman AhmadI’ve been a member here on and off since 2015, but consistent since 2021. The front desk staff are always friendly, especially the lady on Friday evenings who greets everyone with a smile and makes you feel welcome. The pool is excellent — I lost 18kg just from swimming here — and the jacuzzi is one of the best you’ll find for the price. About two years ago I started weight training with my PT, Gregor. He’s a brilliant trainer and a genuinely good person, and the plan he gave me is still the one I follow today. More recently I joined Carmelina Massaro’s Tuesday HIIT class, which is excellent and really adds variety to my training. Nearly ten years on, I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here.

Putney Leisure Centre
guide name: Jamie van PraaghI go to Putney Leisure Centre regularly for the gym, swimming, steam room, and sauna, and honestly, it’s excellent value for money for a full membership. The classes are great — there’s a really good variety and the instructors are capable and enthusiastic. The gym is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, the pool is a good size, and both the sauna and steam room are solid and well maintained. The staff are awesome — always friendly and helpful — and the atmosphere is welcoming. It’s great for all ages and has a really nice, friendly mix of people. Overall, I’d highly recommend it.

guide name: Ivan MorenoI had a great experience at Nuffield Gym Wandsworth (Burr Road). The facilities are clean, well-equipped, and ideal for all types of workouts. Jarryd provided excellent customer service, very informative, friendly, and went above and beyond to help my family member get started. His support made the onboarding process smooth and welcoming. I highly recommend this gym and team.

Wandsworth Park
guide name: Thomas MuttonEdwardian era park situated in-between the Thames and the Putney Bridge Road. There is a large grass area in the middle with a walking path going all the way around it with a cycle path skirting the river. There are tennis courts here, mini golf and public toilets. Two water fountains on the path (these also cater for dogs). Some art sculptures can be found on the paths. A lovely park to walk in.

The White Horse
guide name: London Pub Map🚇 Parsons Green 🍺 £8.35 Hawkstone session ipa The White Horse Is located in leafy Parsons Green in Fulham, Southwest London. The nearest Tube is Parsons Green. There’s been a coaching inn on this spot since 1688, once serving as one of the last stops for travellers heading into London. It was rebuilt in 1778, destroyed by fire in 1881, and rebuilt again in 1882—the building you see today. Known affectionately as ‘The Sloaney Pony’, the pub earned its nickname from the upscale, fashionable ‘Sloane Ranger’ crowd that’s been drawn to the area since the 1980s. This sizeable one-bar pub blends traditional Victorian decor with modern touches. At its heart is a grand mahogany servery with a striking back bar. At the front and left are comfy scarlet banquettes with classic tables and chairs, while the back left of the bar has a more casual feel with benches, a cosy corner, vintage beer signage, and a Bass mirror. On the right, there’s a snug by the window, further down are rustic pews, an ornate marble fireplace, a portrait of an English gentleman with a white horse, and a flagstone floor. At the back is a vaulted dining area, and out front, a beer garden with umbrella-covered tables overlooking the green. The beer selection is excellent, with a broad mix of mainstream, premium, and independent brews, including five cask ales. I went for a @hawkstone session IPA—great pint, but cost a whopping £8.35! 😬 The food menu features modern British pub classics: fish and chips comes in at £20, and roasts are available on Sundays. I arrived at 12 pm on a pleasant Saturday lunchtime in May. The pub had just opened its doors and was already seeing a steady influx of punters. The atmosphere was chilled and laid-back, so settling in was easy and gave me a chance to have a good mooch around. The service was on point—the team were welcoming and friendly. This is a stunning Victorian pub with a superb (if pricey) selection of beers, lovely decor, and friendly service. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and definitely recommend a visit—just maybe not for the sesh. Fulham Palace
guide name: Shabista KhanI visited Fulham Palace on a Sunday afternoon, and it was such a wonderful experience! The palace itself is stunning, with beautifully landscaped gardens and a tranquil atmosphere that feels like an escape from the hustle and bustle of London. What made it even better is that entry is free, which is always a pleasant surprise. The grounds are perfect for a peaceful walk, and I spent quite a bit of time wandering around the Botanic Garden – the variety of plants and flowers is impressive. Inside the palace, there’s a rich history to explore, with exhibitions that tell the story of the place as a residence for the Bishops of London for over 1,300 years. The cafe is a lovely spot to relax after a walk, with a nice selection of coffee and snacks. The staff were incredibly friendly, and it just added to the overall charm of the place. If you’re in the area or looking for a quiet, historical gem in London, I highly recommend visiting Fulham Palace. It's a peaceful retreat, and with free entry, it’s a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Half Moon
guide name: LyndaI attended on Sat 2nd to see Sons of Cream on a solo trip to London from Yorkshire. The staff made me feel extremely at ease and welcome. All very friendly and helpful. The food was good, pub grub, served with a smile and a tab was allowed, which is a rarity these days. The music venue is excellent. Great vibes and well organised. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Putney Bridge
guide name: Mitch HelwigPutney Bridge is a truly magical spot, especially on a clear night. It's a great place to stand and watch the full moon rise over the Thames, all while listening to the beautiful chiming bells of St Mary's Church in the background. The footbridge is thoughtfully designed with convenient insets, allowing you to easily step aside from the steady flow of walkers and bikers. Additionally, you are just steps away from the Upper Boat ramp, making it a perfect starting point for a riverside stroll.

Spotted Horse
guide name: JUssara FernandesThe Spotted Horse is my absolute favourite spot in Putney! I come here all the time and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, the food is consistently delicious, and the drinks are fantastic. Edison is always amazing — super friendly, attentive, and he always makes us feel welcome. The service here is second to none, and you can really feel the care and attention in everything they do. The food? Still, without a doubt, the best in Putney. Whether it’s for a casual drink, a nice meal, or a catch-up with friends, this place is always my go-to. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

guide name: Dai TreeThe Green Man, South Putney. A lovely pub on a busy road, opposite a bus gathering spot. A great offering from the Young's stable. Great staff , efficient and smiling. Both Original and Special from the cask along with the expected keg offerings. Plenty of room inside and a magnificent garden to the rear. A super place for a pint or two.

The Boathouse
guide name: Nigel MerrettWe found this to not be as good as other Young’s pubs. The chicken ham and leek pie was disappointing, and nowhere as good as a chicken ham and leek pie the night before at the Windmill (another Young’s pub). You go for the location, not the food. We had a table outside and that meant we were able to enjoy the atmosphere.

Nando's Putney
guide name: AmberThe food is ok, but it’s kinda overpriced. No idea why the service is slow when they’re not even that busy. Had to wait a bit to be seated because there wasn’t a host or anybody standing by the door, and then when I went up to the register to order there were two people behind the counter but it still took about two minutes for one of them to take my order.. I was even sitting in a booth with a broken seat.
