The BRIT School
guide name: NikolaiAfter completing 4 brilliant years at Brit School, I wanted to come here and say just how wonderful the School and its community is. Studying in DA (Digital Arts), the teachers have been honestly so supportive and kind, allowing me to achieve much more than I could have ever thought, whilst challenging myself to do better. Honestly such a wonderful and unique experience, would so recommend, especially for DA. There is just so much to do, from graphic design to 3D modelling! I loved it.

Croydon College
guide name: Arjun GhoshVisited as part of an employability programme we put on for local students. I was impressed with the college overall. It was clean and tidy throughout and the facilities I had access to were excellent. They have updated the building and it is modern. Large rooms with good access to computers and interactive white boards. The location is very close to East Croydon Station. Approx a 5 min walk

Lloyd Park
guide name: K MistryLloyd Park is a beautiful green space - had a such a lovely walk this morning! It was very peaceful! This park is perfect for a long walk, run, dog walk or a trip with children (great playground too). The only downside is parking: Croydon Council advertises 3 hours free, yet I was still charged 20p via Ringo, which doesn’t make sense.

Little Bay Croydon
guide name: Matthew AleandriWe booked a table here for one Saturday evening as a few of my friends wanted to try the place. The staff were friendly and approachable and assisted to all of out needs. I decided to go for all 3 courses. My starter was the smoked salmon and cream cheese on a muffin. Well presented and tasty...I enjoy it. Fair price for £7.45. For my main I had the Schnitzel with various vegetables, again very nice! Had that homecooked feel to it, which I like, and not value for money at £15.85. Finally for my dessert I had the white chocolate and pistacchio parfait. It was nice, but at no point did I taste any pistacchio in this ice cream cake, which was a bit of let down. Also, it was a bit on the small side considering I paid £7.45 for it. So, if you're interested in homecooked styled dishes, live music and a theatre themed restaurant, then definitely check this place out. Only 4 stars as the dessert wasn't quite there for the price and size of it.

Wandle Park
guide name: ShereenI go to Wandle park often and have been going for years. First with my children and now for casual walks either alone or with my dog. It’s a lovely little park - dog friendly and with a nice little play area for the kiddies. There’s also a skate area and tennis courts with a ping pong table which is really cool.

Park Hill Park
guide name: J.L. G.This gem of a park, located a few blocks south of East Croydon Station, is situated on a beautifully landscaped grassy hillside that slopes gradually upwards as one walks through the park away from the station. The roughly rectangular open space that comprises the park is punctuated by mainly old-growth trees that line the paved walkways and are interspersed among the adjacent lawns. There are plenty of robust park benches along the main paths, inside the Walled Garden and adjacent to the park's southern perimeter, where there are decent views of Croydon's skyline, such as it is. Facilities within the park include swings, tennis courts, and basketball courts. No cafes are currently open onsite. Towards the summit of the slope stands a landmark, the Old Water Tower, which is not open to visitors. An adjacent path leads to a residential area through which one can easily walk downhill to Lloyd Park via mostly quiet side streets and several off road pedestrian paths.

Bagatti's Italian
guide name: Jouls WI was at Bagatti’s for a business lunch for about 70 people so we pretty took over the place and had a special priced menu. The food was delicious and generous portions all round. We had a shared platters to start. For main I had the branzino (sea bass) which was very fresh (I’m very fussy). The staff did an amazing job in getting all the orders in and in front of each diner without error hot out of the kitchen. No delays in starting whilst others waiting for food. Extremely impressive performance from kitchen. I don’t live anywhere remotely near but if I did I would most definitely be back. Highly recommended. A local favourite for good reason. Long may it thrive.

wagamama croydon
guide name: L BunneyFabulous, haven't been to Wagamama's in over 10 years and my favorite katsu chicken curry is still delightful. Being in a wheelchair, they quickly moved a bench for me, meaning I had lots of space and wasn't crowded. Very happy about that. Great atmosphere, really felt comfortable and there were a few ladies eating, working, reading, on the phone by themselves in comfort. Which does say good things about a restaurant. Recommend and will go back!

Nando's Croydon - High Street
guide name: Amanda AvalosI recently came to visit the UK and this why by far my favorite place to eat. My go to order was the wing roulette to try all the tasty flavors… there was one thing that was better than the flavors… how fall off the bone the chicken was. with the self serve soda option and countless additional hot sauces you can pour onto your food. Ny favorite sauces (garlic and xhot). The sides to pair with your food are endless. The service was kind and helpful especially as a visitors. I miss Nando’s and I cannot wait to make my way back here.

Premier Inn London Croydon Town Centre hotel
guide name: Thandi EnnisI’ve stayed at this Premier Inn several times, and it’s always been a great experience. The hotel is in a convenient location, right next to a supermarket, which makes it very practical. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. A special mention goes to Mabel, who always greets guests with a warm smile. She’s attentive, professional and truly goes above and beyond to make every stay pleasant. It’s clear she enjoys what she does — she never seems to have a bad day! Overall, a reliable and friendly place to stay in Croydon — highly recommended.

St Mary's Church, West Croydon
guide name: Madhusudhan KondaSt Mary’s church is a beautiful Roman Catholic Church, centrally located in West Croydon area, serving over two thousand regular parishioners every week! I don’t think there’s any church around here which gets jam packed (it attracts a thousand parishioners, many will stand patiently as pews gets occupied during weekend masses during Sunday masses!). Built over 150 years, the church is very well maintained and looked after. Its interiors are quite appealing with plenty of natural lighting (church boasts ample electric lighting too, huge halogen lights arranged on the ceiling), pews arranged in four columns with ample seating, carpeted with maroon and red coloured carpets which are always inviting. You can see a gorgeously arranged altar and a tabernacle on a high place, always lit well and arranged with beautiful flowers. The ceilings are quite high with octagonal columns and ancient window panes. It celebrates 6 masses on a Sunday, all these masses are served by excellent and varied choirs ranging from Children’s, young adults, Ugandan, Philippino, Malayalam and English and Latin too. Recently they’ve introduced Male Voice Choir on a last Sunday of each month. The clergy, music ministry are very warm in welcoming everyone. I’m a regular here, so my review might be biased, however I do ask you to visit once and find out for yourself!

Chat House Indian Restaurant
guide name: NikolaI can’t remember the last time I went out of my way to post a review about a takeaway! … best one I’ve had in a long time! Butter chicken dish was spicy yet sweet, I usually avoid this dish as it never seems to hit the right consistency in most takeaways however this one has got it right - surprisingly my favourite one! Pilau rice and Pashwari naan both standard and good. Chat house special? Second favourite I decided to go for it after reading the description on Deliveroo and honestly I’m glad it was described in a intriguing way as I wouldn’t have gone for this usually 😊 10/10 takeaway and will definitely be coming back! P.s delivery was very quick in comparison to other takeaways I’ve had so thank you very much!
