Old Royal Naval College
guide name: Silvie T.I didn't go inside the beautiful buildings, as we only walked through the park-like grounds. Like many buildings in London, they are simply stunning. It's really worth spending some time here to enjoy the beauty of London away from the hustle and bustle. A dream come true for (amateur) photographers.

Royal School of Motoring
guide name: Michael GolsonI cannot recommend the Royal School of Motoring highly enough! Thanks to them, I was able to pass my driving test in less than six months with just over 30 hours of lessons. All credit goes to Aruna, who is an absolutely brilliant instructor. His patience, calming presence and encouragement made the whole experience really stress-free. He was always super helpful, provided proper guidance and really built my confidence with each lesson. He’s also just a nice bloke! Honestly, if you're looking for a driving school in SE London then you can’t go wrong with Royal School of Motoring. Thanks again guys and thanks especially to Aruna!

Goldsmiths, University of London
guide name: Abdur RExcellent place, even for departments outside of the arts. The computational neuroscience masters is exceptional. Very intensely academic, rigorous and truly prepare you for a postgraduate lifestyle if you choose a PhD or academia. However, it seems like you're outside of the campus' sphere of activity if you're not in the arts. This was not the case at my prior university, which was way worse (

Greenwich Market
guide name: Alexander KempFantastic market in the heart of the old town of Greenwhich. A great variety of food and good for Christmas gifts and trinkets. There is a nice art and poster shop as well. Very good coffee on offer and don’t miss the old school pie and eel shop just as you enter or exit the market. The prices were reasonable as well.

Cutty Sark
guide name: Chris B (Chris)Really interesting historic boat that isn't about the military. The exhibit is in very good condition and eerily held up from the floor (for good reason as they explain) allowing you to walk under it which just feels weird?! Views are good from the top deck and some very informative videos and side panels throughout. Various ad hoc performances and offerings provided throughout the day (we did some rope making which the kids enjoyed), toilets are in good order, cafe available at the end and about a dozen lockers available for bags (need a £1 coin but you get it back). Really solid visit, would recommend but you will get it done in a couple of hours.

Telegraph Hill Upper Park
guide name: REGLovely views at sunset from this park - popular spot at this time for this reason. Some good facilities here too: a tennis court. This park is named after the telegraph post that was here in the past. It was used as part of an early warning system during ww2. You can read more details on this on a sign in the park. Nice place for a stroll anytime of day, lots of local dogs get walked here.

Royal Albert
guide name: Daniel NuttOh my the Roast here is so good you will eat to bloatation, which is easily done because the portions are very generous. The service is excellent and the beer is kept well with a good selection of real ales and decent alcohol free options. This is one of the genuinely good pubs you won’t be disappointed.

Old Brewery
guide name: Hayley HunwicksWe hosted the second part of our wedding celebrations here in July and it was just perfect. The space was a large space felt really special. We had a mixture of pastries, scones with Jam and cream and buzz fizz and everything was lovely. We could even play our own music. There were about 50 of us and everyone loved it. The staff were so friendly and attentive on the day and also with communication leading up to our event. We were going to uptown festival and this our meeting point before the festival to have a bite to eat, a toast and get 'festival ready' and it was the perfect spot !! Thanks to all the staff for hosting us :) Really recommend this venue for any event and such a lovely spot in Greenwich!

Premier Inn London Greenwich hotel
guide name: Paul LeeStayed here the last couple of weeks for work with 4 colleagues, the 1st few nights where Ok & breakfast is good, however the night time meals are very hit and miss, as nobody seems to be in charge, i.e. people are, wandering into the restraint area to see if there is someone to serve them at the bar etc, we booked a table for 18:45 & we where still awaiting for our order to be taken at 19:45, one of my colleagues asked politely if our table could be serviced and they just looked and ignored him, he came back to the table and we could hear the staff laughing and joking to each other, after an additional 15 minutes we decided to try to find an alternative place to eat, we informed a member of staff of the situation and the reply was "its not my fault we are short staffed" even though the restaurant was only at approximately 20% capacity, unfortunately we have been booked in for another 4 weeks so currently negotiating a move with the office, If you have the same situation I can however recommend a restraint literally 2 minutes walk away, will be eating there from now on. UPDATE fare is fare to be honest since my original review this has changed as they have a few new key staff, nicholas is very professional and polite, this is the main reason i'm reviewing my original review things have changed with waiting and the food has improved, well done.

guide name: George NormanLovely pub with the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had (outside of my mums of course). Delicious food, great service and lovely tempo to the meal. Perfect amount of time to digest between courses without feeling like we were waiting too long or rushed at any point. Already planning our visit to come back!

PizzaExpress
guide name: Flo RidaWe had a b-day party at Pizza Express Greenwich and kids really enjoyed the experience. They have made pizzas as part of school programme but this time it was more personalised they said - being able to choose toppings and to eat their own pizzas right away with drinks and side menu like dough balls. Thank you Itziya for providing kids with the amazing, memorable experience!

The New Cross House
guide name: Aishwarya SanchetyWhat started as a hopeful experience, since the interior and exterior of the pub looked great, quickly turned into disappointment. I ordered the lunch special with the Grilled Cheese Toastie and a Coke. The menu described it as “a medley of mature Cheddar, Gouda and Emmental, with béchamel sauce in a toasted farmhouse loaf,” which sounded very promising. What arrived, however, was nothing close. The bread was barely toasted, the cheese felt more like a thin melted layer had been smeared on like butter and there was none of the flavour promised. I sent it back and requested for it to actually be grilled with the cheeses listed. What came back was even worse, still under-toasted, with a cold, dense lump of cheese inside that was unpleasant and inedible. The only reason I ate half was because I didn’t have time to order something else before I had to leave. At £9.25, this was not only underwhelming but genuinely disappointing. The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the server was really nice and apologetic.

805 Restaurants
guide name: Ernesto SantibanezGreat restaurant serving traditional West African food in a sleek and modern environment. We went on a Saturday evening and - although very busy - managed to get a table for two without reservation. Staff was friendly and explained the dishes to us. The grilled fish was excellent- but order only if you are OK with bones. The Asaro was very special, spiced and hearty. Would recommend!

Matiz on The Hill
guide name: Jennifer SmithDelicious food with good serving sizes. Food came quickly as well. Also cheap prices for a large glass of wine! I had the Ecuadorean ceviche which was SO fresh and tasty, a baked goat cheese and spinach empanada, and the goat cheese salad. The first two would have been enough: large enough for someone who is only somewhat hungry. Service was decent as well. Would definitely return! Excellent value for money.

The Duke of Deptford
guide name: Diana RAs a “certified foodie” from Hispanic descent, I really enjoyed this pizza. I got the Lucky Cow pizza and it was amazing! The spice and flavor were there from the brisket and it reminded me of how birria tacos taste from the tenderness of the meat to the salsa and jalapeños adding that spicy kick I love in food. I love that it’s stone fired so the crust has the right balance of crispy on the edges and still soft in the right places. Totally recommend trying out this place! Ted is great at making one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tried.
