The BRIT School

guide name: Nikolai

After completing 4 brilliant years at Brit School, I wanted to come here and say just how wonderful the School and its community is. Studying in DA (Digital Arts), the teachers have been honestly so supportive and kind, allowing me to achieve much more than I could have ever thought, whilst challenging myself to do better. Honestly such a wonderful and unique experience, would so recommend, especially for DA. There is just so much to do, from graphic design to 3D modelling! I loved it.

Charlotte Taylor Yoga & Reiki

guide name: Sabine Antonia

Charlotte’s Reiki sessions are amazing. I would recommend to anyone who is in need of balancing and supporting the system going through changes or even ‘just ' for 'maintenance’, through her Reiki skills we are able not to let energy get stuck or built up which is a great way of taking care of ones energy balance in life. Charlotte is super skilled and experienced and her sessions leave me feel relaxed, at ease and in the know that I’m in the right hands.

Decent walking paths and a small lake, which do feel like you’re far away from the city around you. Dog friendly, some bird wildlife, a couple signs. Also has a playground.

Grangewood Park

Absolutely love Grangewood Park! This is a hidden gem in the heart of South London. The park is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and full of nature — perfect for families, joggers, and anyone who wants to escape the city noise. There’s a lovely playground for kids, plenty of benches to relax, and the walking paths are clean and wide. It feels safe and welcoming at all hours. A truly underrated park that deserves more attention!

Affordable roasts and huge yorkshire puds! Good selection of beers on draught and always friendly service. Very accomodating for dogs - they even gave us a doggy bowl so we could feed her some of our leftovers.

Tasty Jerk

guide name: Daniel Bielecki

I thought I’d try OTJ’s and see what the fuss was all about, when hearing about it. It’s just a large smoky hut with a waiting area and food being prepared in converted oil drums. Staff were busy preparing food with minimal interaction with customers, even though it was quiet at that time. Ordered Jerk Pork with rice and had it at a nearby park. Was a tad on the spicy side and the meat was crunchy and chewy at the same time. Rice was ok. However, had to buy a soft drink elsewhere (to have it washed down), because the establishment doesn’t sell drinks?

Really amazing place! Lovely staff and very chilled vibe. The quality of the food is exceptional - the best scones I’ve ever had and the bacon is a real hit. I really recommend and can’t wait to come back.

I totally misjudged the amount of soup, but both the soup and the stew were delicious, thanks for the perfect dinner!

Winsford Gardens Open Space

A small but delightfully quiet and relaxing space. Given how close it is to a very busy road, it has a surprising stillness and peace. A great place to pop into for five or ten minutes to relax and refresh the soul, this is an overlooked joy.

Addiscombe Railway Park

Nice small park. Very picturesque, with lots of wildlife and great views of Croydon. The park is well maintained and isn't to busy, plenty of room. An amazing job of fitting so much in to a small park. A great place for photography or walking. Good for transport, with tram stop next door.

Ordered a LARGE ackee and rice and peas and got this. Will be my first time and last time ordering from here. EDIT - vendor also didn't bother to wrap the food containers so sauce/oil had leaked everywhere.

Grace's Bar & Grill London

guide name: Louise Davies

We used the function room for a wake on a Thursday afternoon. The owner & staff were very accommodating, the room itself was well lit, with comfortable seating & a small space outside for the smokers. The main bar was open & we were able to bring drinks into the room with us. The food was all fresh & very tasty. There was lots of space for the photo board & flowers we brought with us. Thank you to all who helped make this difficult day easier.
