University of Sunderland in London (UoSiL)

    guide name: ASHISH

“A truly supportive and inspiring university!” Studying at the University of Sunderland London Campus has been an amazing experience for me. The location is perfect, right in the heart of London, with great transport links and everything you need nearby. The lecturers are highly knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely care about student success. They explain things clearly and are always willing to offer extra guidance when needed. The support services here — from academic help to career advice — are excellent, making it easier for students to settle in and thrive. The campus itself is modern, well-equipped, and has a friendly, diverse community where you feel welcomed from day one. Being surrounded by students from different cultures has broadened my perspective and made learning even more exciting. If you’re looking for quality education in a vibrant city with supportive staff and a great learning environment, I highly recommend the University of Sunderland London Campus!

Superb courses with excellent tutors, learning resources and ultrasound equipment. The PGCert is a chunky commitment but the course is well taught with a structured learning journey and recognised qualification at the end. I highly recommend the PGCert for any advanced scope physios and doctors (from any area of musculoskeletal medicine!). It has made a huge difference to my clinical practice.

These are really terrible reviews. Not good for your institution. I was hoping to apply now as an international student but reading the reviews gave me an instant withdrawal of interest. Work on these complaints else you keep loosing potential students all over the world.

    The Mayflower Pub

    guide name: Ethan Mullen

This was the last stop on our pub crawl of local boozers and it did not disappoint. The pub is welcoming as soon as you walk in with a nice selection of taps to choose from. A nice atmosphere fills the air with the pub getting busier as the afternoon goes on. There’s seating available indoors, but I’d recommend going onto the terrace out the back as you sit hovering above the water below. With lots of seating in booth, bar and table format you’re likely to be able to find somewhere to enjoy the great view of the river. Heaters are also installed outside. I would like to visit this pub again and recommend it to everyone.

The park provides a delightful setting for a leisurely stroll, featuring well-maintained and easily navigable pathways. The diverse selection of trees and flowers contributes to a lively and tranquil ambiance, which is enjoyable for all. Numerous families with children can take advantage of the spacious green areas for play. Benches are conveniently placed throughout the park, offering visitors opportunities to rest and appreciate the surroundings. In general, it is a highly esteemed park within the community. Furthermore, there are some charming animals that can be seen around the park.

Only 15 people at deck, no smoking and please no swimming after a few drinks! There are more seats upstairs. You can feel the History energy when you enter the pub. Small, cozy and quirky. Friendly staff and it seemed like nice food too. They didn't seem to have many local crafts. Worth a visit.

    Wahaca Canary Wharf

    guide name: Kaushal Patel

I recently had dinner at Wahaca and it was amazing! We started with the guacamole and hummus. The guacamole was okay, a little bland, but the hummus was absolutely delicious. For our mains, we ordered the sweet potato...something (I can't remember the name!), buttermilk chicken tacos, and beef tacos. Everything was so flavorful and tasty. We also got the chorizo quesadillas which were beautiful. To finish, we shared the tiramisu for dessert, which was lovely. The service was great, our waiter was really helpful, and the atmosphere was cool. I'd definitely recommend Wahaca to anyone looking for a delicious and fun dining experience

Located at the center of canary wharf is this building. I think its the 3rd tallest building in London. There are also very big companies situated closeby eg baclays and majority of the buildings comprise of banking sectors. We also have many food courts and restaurants situated around. I would say its majorly a corporate area and transportation and walkways are easy to navigate. You also have tran stations above ground and underground for easy movement. Would highly recommend if you need an office space for easy use as well as you can rent spaces for use.

I had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was outstanding. The food truly captures the authentic taste of Italy—rich, flavorful, and made with care. I highly recommend trying more than one dish to fully enjoy the variety and quality they offer. A must-visit for Italian food lovers!

Stave Hill Ecological Park - TCV

    guide name: Keith Hainge

Like many people , I've been up quite a few of London's well known viewpoints but Stave Hill is probably little known except by the locals. This artificial viewpoint rises like a miniature Silbury Hill set on the Rotherhithe Peninsula . Although only a pimple in comparison to The Shard etc. the stairs lead you up to a circular platform commanding a 360 degrees View of London. In the centre is a cast metal plaque showing a map of Surrey Commercial Docks , the site now being housing & divided by Russia Dock Woodland & Stave Hill Ecological Park. Absolutely worth a visit.

I had an exceptional evening here! The food and drinks were spot on, and the service was simply outstanding—our server greeted us warmly and knew the menu inside out, which made choosing our meals a breeze. The vibes in the place were perfect, and everything was spotless. I really appreciated how the team checked in on us and even recommended dessert—it was such a nice touch. I can’t wait to come back!

    ROKA Canary Wharf

    guide name: J Lo

Roka in Canary Wharf delivers a great dining experience with a balance of class and comfort. The atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed, not overly formal, which makes it ideal for both special occasions and casual lunches and dinners. The service was excellent throughout—attentive, friendly, and professional, contributing to the overall enjoyable experience. As for the food, the black cod was delicious - rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The sashimi and prawn tempura sushi were also highlights. The beef dish was a bit underwhelming; it lacked the wow factor you might expect from a place like this. One slight disappointment was the tuna tartare, which came out more like minced tuna. The texture just didn’t compare well to similar dishes at other high-end Japanese restaurants.

What a wonderful venue! Boisdale in Canary Wharf is a real hidden gem if you love live music and a classy night out. We had so much fun soaking in the smooth sounds of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr.- felt like being transported back in time. The vibe is stylish yet relaxed, perfect for enjoying a good drink, great company, and seriously top-tier entertainment. Can’t wait to go back for another jazzy evening.

It was a truly wonderful experience! The meat was exceptionally tender and practically melted in the mouth. They also provided complimentary fresh bread. Furthermore, the starters were just as delightful as the main courses. The sütlaç I had for dessert was absolutely mouthwatering. It was such a light and pleasant treat. The Turkish tea was also quite good, though perhaps it could have been a bit hotter, but otherwise, I have no complaints. Additionally, they thoughtfully provided a space for prayer upon request, which was incredibly convenient and allowed me to enjoy my stay without rushing.
