    The Excel London is set in the Docklands near Central London, my daughter and myself went to see the Elvis Evolution, which has had mixed reviews, but you have to go into it, not expecting an actual full Concert, it is based mainly around the famous 68 comeback special, and with actors and actresses tell a very impressive story about how Elvis started out, building up to the final act the 68 comeback special..we really enjoyed it..the Evolution Entrance is on the outside of the Excel looking on to the old dockyard, there is a Yacht moored which is a good landmark as you have to walk past it and down steps to get to the path that takes you to it.. definitely a worthwhile visit and one I would recommend if you want to learn a bit more about Elvis and his friend Sam Bell..TCB

    Thames Barrier Park

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars Visited today for a lovely walk and what a fantastic find! This park offers incredible views of the River Thames and the Thames Barrier - absolutely stunning and quite unique compared to your typical London parks. There were a few summer kids clubs running when we visited, but the park is so spacious that this wasn't an issue at all. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the space comfortably. The grounds are really well maintained and it felt very safe throughout our visit. There's a cafe on site (though it was closed when we visited), which would be a nice bonus for future visits. Easy to get to as well - Pontoon Dock DLR station is the nearest transport link. This is a great place to visit if you want something a bit different from the usual London parks. The modern design and Thames Barrier views make it really special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful spot with fantastic river views! 5 stars - will definitely be back!

    Consistently Great Food & Atmosphere – The Pilot Not my first time eating and drinking at The Pilot, and it’s always a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are friendly, and the food is consistently delicious with generous portions. I especially love the calamari, the Sunday Roasts are great value, and the fish and chips are a must-try – the fish is huge, tasty, and fresh. I've visited with my husband and family, and it’s a spot we always enjoy. Highly recommend!

    Dimsum is quite good and fresh. All the dishes ordered were very tasty. Restaurant has a good atmosphere and good view as its next to the airport. Service is quick however the place can get very busy specially during weekends.

    Premier Inn London Docklands (Excel) hotel

    Room was good, location is nice and quiet. Only thing that put me off was the service. The food took over an hour despite the place being empty. There was never anyone behind the bar. And you can’t blame the staff because they were lovely, but there just wasn’t enough of them. They were all trying to do everything. The lady on the front desk had to finish checking in the guests before rushing over to the bar to serve the line that had accrued. If you’re just after a place to stay then it’s fine but would recommend eating elsewhere.

    My favourite Thai restaurant in London. The food is authentic and delicious. I don’t live in the area but we come here once a year (at least). Today, I had sweet and sour chicken with pineapple rice. Yummy!!! The staff is lovely and attentive but not intrusive.

    The food is very tasty, we ordered quite a few different plates and i can confidently say that they are all tasty no matter what you go with. The pork the beef and the chicken were all cooked to perfection. The combination of flavour is great and the meat just melts in your mouth. We also got the Gin Tonic and Pink Wine with our meal but this is unfortunately when we also got offered water with our meal. Tap water. Which everyone would have to agree is free. The lady serving us just asked if we would like water too which we agreed to, only to find after the meal that we have been charged £2 for the water???? Without being told that this tap water would be under any sort of cost. The food is good but it is a very expensive place. And its a shame because again. The atmosphere is great, the food is good and the staff were nice but this devious omission of the charge is pretty disrespectful hence why it gets 4/5 stars from me. Update: i have decided to drop a few stars from my review after the response of Tapa Tapa. They appear to be very condesending and "better" than you. The waitress came with the menu, then immediately took our attention away from the menu to offer us water, never stating it was at a certain cost. She did this specifically to conceal this fact, and they should be ashamed. The chef is amazing, and I wish for him to find a better workplace, as he should not work under such people. I will never visit again and will spread the word about this business and how it treats customers.

    A great local waterside bar with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The music sets the perfect atmosphere, and there’s a really good selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Whether you’re just stopping by for a drink or spending the evening with friends, it’s a comfortable and enjoyable place to hang out. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area
