I tried Indian food for the first time with my husband – a very special experience! Everything was different from what we know of Turkish or German cuisine, very flavoursome and interesting. Some dishes took a bit of getting used to, but we really enjoyed trying everything. The atmosphere was great, the staff very friendly and attentive, and we especially appreciated the dessert offered on the house. Definitely worth trying for anyone curious about Indian cuisine.

A very nice covered market within easy walking distance of Liverpool Street station. There is a huge variety of food stalls and the ones we tried served very nice food at a decent price. For food, I would rather come here than Borough Market. There are also many stalls selling other goods - these didn't seem such good value but we didn't actually buy anything.

Sheba Restaurant - Awarded Best Curry House In UK

    guide name: Sana Insad

I had an excellent experience at Sheba Restaurant on Brick Lane. They offer a wide selection of Pakistani, Indian, and Bengali dishes, and every dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious. The service was just as impressive – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel very welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. If you’re looking for a restaurant on Brick Lane that serves amazing South Asian food with top-notch service, I highly recommend Sheba Restaurant. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

A lovely museum. Most people visit with children, but don’t let that stop you if you’re there as a big kid. Plenty of things to take you down memory lane and jog your memory of your childhood. And if all else fails, the architecture of their beautiful building is gorgeous with its delicate steel/iron work.

    Pizza East - Shoreditch

    guide name: Salman Rauf

Visited this pizza place in the heart of Shoreditch, and the location was great and close by to many more bars and restaurants. I went there a few days ago for a meet up with my work colleagues. The food was great, and really authentic tasting italian food. Loved my margarita pizza with an added burrata! I would recommend the halloumi fries, they were perfect! The vibe was great, service was good too. Will definitely be passing by again!

Loved my experience here for a romantic date. The place itself is truly a vibe, I was mesmerised by the sheer size of the architecture. Our server was amazing and so attentive. We went for the tasting menu and it was so decadent and perde for the start of autumn. We loved everything but the desserts, they weren’t particularly outstanding.

    Haggerston Park

    guide name: Shanroy Dehaney

This park is located close to Hackney City Farm. I went to visit the farm with my kids, and just around the corner was this relaxing park. It had a very engaging play area, which my kids enjoyed. It also had a nice sports area, with tennis courts, and football pitches. It then opened up to nicely laid lawns where many people were just relaxing, while others were sunbathing. There was also people there having a party and the atmosphere was buzzing. I will visit again as we didn't get to see half of this park.

    The Breakfast Club Hoxton

    guide name: S. N.

I thought it was a good place with a good atmosphere. I thought the food was pretty good, too. I had the shakshuka, I prefer a bit more spice and usually have it without beans but it was decent. My friends really liked the vibe and the food they ordered, and one of my friends really liked the service. So although I found it to be an average brunch place with normal service, I took their input into consideration for this slightly above average rating.

We had a lovely trip to the farm and the kids especially had great fun. There was also a little garden just next to the farm that had a fun activity trying to find all the different objects in the garden which the kids loved. However, if you’re planning a full day trip I wouldn’t recommend this as a full day out activity as the farm was quite small. Instead there’s a kids play area just behind the farm to visit but also Victoria Park nearby which has lots of geese and boats which can be great fun. All in all loved the farm and will definitely be coming in the future! 🤍

    All Star Lanes Brick Lane

    guide name: Shauna

I love All Star Lanes! I was excited to visit this branch when visiting the area, I would go all the time if I lived nearer. They always have a cool retro vibe and I enjoy the more boutique setting, it makes a change from large loud bowling alleys. Plus you can stop for a bite to eat in their restaurant area or enjoy a cocktail in their swanky bar space. A perfect place for a date actually. On my visit, the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make my day. Excellent service ✨!
