This is my second year studying HND course at Mont Rose College. I will recommend this college to anyone thinking about going back to study. They have one of the best lecturers and staffs, an excellent lecture room with great quality chairs. They have the best facilities for people with disabilities. Give Mont Rose College a try and you will not regret it.

Lovely park to visit during Autumn, I like that they sell food to feed the ducks, squirrels. If you are looking for a peaceful place away from the loudness this is perfect. Just watching the ducks, geese, swan swim is more than enough to relax you.

London Sri Murugan Temple

guide name: Madhava Prasad Varma

Today, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the London Sri Murugan Temple, and I must say, it was an uplifting experience that truly transported me to the spiritual heart of India, all while being in the vibrant city of London. From the moment I arrived, the temple radiated a sense of peace and devotion. The architecture is beautiful, combining traditional South Indian temple styles with the serene atmosphere expected of a place of worship. The intricate carvings and vibrant colors created a visually stunning backdrop that enhances the spiritual ambiance. After the Aarti, I was fortunate to partake in Mahaprasad during lunchtime. The food was delicious and offered with love, embodying the essence of community that temples promote. It was a fulfilling experience to share a meal that felt blessed and nourishing.

Saravanaa Bhavan

This restaurant near Ilford Station is a good spot for authentic Indian food. The service is decent, but it gets uncomfortably hot inside during summer—air conditioning would make a big difference. The food tastes great and has an authentic touch, though the portions are on the smaller side, which might not satisfy a big foodie. Prices are on the higher end, but overall, it’s a good choice for a vegetarian dining experience.

South Park

It is a very pleasant park to walk around and relax in. There are two playgrounds, one for the older kids and one for the younger kids. There is an outdoor gym, Tennis court, Basketball court and Zip line and a Private Bowles club. Toilet facilities are available in the park (currently being updated and renovated May 2025). There is a large lake with plenty of Ducks and Geese to view and appreciate. I take walks there quite frequently. Lovely in all seasons.

Nando’s is always a great choice! The peri-peri chicken is flavorful and perfectly cooked every time. The menu has a good variety and the sides are just as delicious. I especially recommend the mac and cheese—it’s absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff were really great. Definitely recommend for a meal with friends or family.

The atmosphere is very nice. Nice music being played. They have lots of room downstairs. Service was very quick and friendly staff. We ordered the Tawa Lamb and it was very nice. Lamb chop was abit chewy but overall I would still come back again and would recommend this place.

JRC Global Buffet

guide name: Omar Chow

First of all the guy who opened the door should be working at the reception as he greeted me and my wife in in a very professional manner, whereas the Chinese guy from reception who I spoke to didn’t understand any word coming out of my mouth clearly a language barrier there which was very annoying. Most customers will speak fluent English so I don’t know why he was at the front, the family in front of me also struggled talking to him. I tried explaining I booked a reservation under the “B1G1F" offer and that I was a little late but he said the restaurant is full so I had to pay full price which I happily did but what really got to me was the fact that numerous of tables empty and loads of people leaving so I don’t know why he lied saying the restaurant was full and there were plenty tables available from when I first came to the time I Left. I normally come here every year with my Wife and one thing I’ve always loved was the salt and pepper ribs but I see it has now been replaced with pork ribs which really are upsetting, there was no desert from beginning to end so I had to have some of this raspberry cream thing in big silver pot, I understand deserts are freshly made but I paid so I could eat the food and desert. If I could be refunded that would be good as this I’ll be my last time going JRC after 5 years In a row

Oh my goodness, can i say it was such a treat, like a hug in a dabba! Thank you, Tania and Uncleji (serving at the till) for this pure Punjabi delight, very tasty food hands down, made our day! Highly rated on the quality of their fresh and piping hot food, especially the rotis and bhaturey (some of the best, I've tasted), friendly staff, affordable and efficient service. guide name: augustin paul missal

If I need to give zero star I will definitely do that, guy who served me his name is Umar and on till she was Zara, on of the worst rude customer service ever in my life, I’m gold member and I asked for basic customised drink milk and coffee shots on top of it. But the guy umar he don’t even know how to quality of shots neither how to make customer satisfy. Starbucks you guys need to teach them how to service customer first before making drinks, ssv was super good her Martha she understood but this guy and that girl was ridiculous, time of service 12:35 on Sunday 28th September. No label, No message on the cups, No connection, worst store ever. That was abusing customer, Starbucks please open you eyes and see the ground experience.
