Nuffield Health Enfield Fitness & Wellbeing Gym

I was fortunate to join this club last year whilst living in the area and honestly I can't say enough about how incredibly amazing the staff are! From the moment I called up to enquire about membership and spoke to the lovely Kyle I was met with such kindness, warmth and welcome. And it just got better from there. Every-single person on the front desk has been SO kind, friendly and welcoming and at times gone above and beyond in there effort to accommodate and support. I find this level of customer service to be exceptional and sadly rare, but what a gift when you encounter it! What a great team! I'll be honest, I didn't use the gym or classes. I'm journeying with chronic illness so movement is difficult, but the sauna and steam room were a great support, clean, nice and hot with a great crowd of friendly people. There are so many names to mention but a big shout and huge thank you to Kyle and Lewis for going above and beyond in their help and inclusivity! Wishing you all the best!

Kumon Maths & English

guide name: Sarah Obe

I enrolled my son into Kumon for over two years, trusting that it would help his school progress. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Despite regular attendance and over £1,600 spent, there was no significant improvement in his real academic performance. Throughout this time, I had many discussions with my son’s school teachers, who would highlight specific areas on his test papers where he was struggling. They advised me to discuss these concerns with Kumon directly, hoping they could support him better. Sadly, even after raising concerns, there was no noticeable improvement. My family also noticed that Kumon wasn’t delivering any clear benefit for my son’s progress. When I enquired further with the Kumon instructor, I was shocked to learn that Kumon does NOT follow the UK National Curriculum. They teach their own internal “Kumon methods,” which left my son confused, especially when trying to prepare for his SATs. A major red flag was learning that Kumon doesn’t even properly cover maths reasoning, which is a huge part of the SATs. Instead, they focused heavily on repetitive sums, without building the real-world problem-solving skills he needed. For £75 a month, I expected real academic support — not endless worksheets that didn’t match school expectations. I was told my son was working at a “Kumon Year 7 level,” but in reality, he was still struggling with long division and basic reasoning skills needed for Year 6. Their internal “levels” mean nothing when it comes to real national exams — they are purely an internal marketing tool to create the illusion of progress. On top of the academic shortcomings, parents are expected to mark their child’s work themselves at home, meaning you are essentially paying £75 a month for a self-service worksheet subscription. When I gave my notice to withdraw, communication became purely transactional. Despite offering to let them keep my £65 deposit (as a goodwill gesture to cover the notice period), there was no genuine concern about my son’s education or appreciation for the loyalty shown — just pressure about fees. If your child’s future matters, don’t mistake Kumon worksheets for real exam preparation. Every child is different, and maybe some families see progress. But for MY son, Kumon delivered nothing but confusion, wasted time, and wasted money. I regret not stepping away sooner. We’ve now switched to using CGP books at home, tailored to the real UK National Curriculum, and my son is already making meaningful progress at his own pace. Parents — please trust real results, not polished branding.

The Sampson School of English

guide name: Katie

Asha has been an excellent tutor to my son who recently sat GCSE English. English seemed to be his weakness and had a mock grade 3. He started the lesson and went from the grade 3 to grade 6 in the following mock exam. He was so happy to have the lessons and does not dread English anymore. I would Highly recommend The Sampson School of English.

Nando's Enfield - Retail Park

I went to Nando’s recently with a friend after not going for a while, and it was a great experience. We got a table straight away, and the food didn’t take long to come out. Everything tasted really good. The staff were friendly too. When one of them came over to clear our plates, we had a nice chat about some of the challenges they deal with. It made me realize that when things are slow sometimes, it’s not really their fault. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and I’m glad I went back.

We had a lovely meal at Zaza after visiting the Parkside farm. We had a great experience, the food was delicious and the service was very attentive. The highlight were the rigatoni with salsiccia, the lamb ragu, the Sicilian lemon tart, and they also provide a great wine selection, we enjoyed the vermentino from Tuscany!

The Meeting Bar & Restaurant

guide name: Win Sandar Min

In general, would like to drop 4 stars but it is shame it goes 2 due to the poor service I felt the real Thai taste here. While exploring a new neighborhood, I found this authentic Thai restaurant. The ambience, décor really attract to me. The place has a nice atmosphere. It is divided into two sections: one for hotpot and one for à la carte. Since we wanted hotpot, we were seated in that area. We were the only guests there, so it was quiet while we enjoyed dinner. The food taste is 7 out of 10. The hotpot is good value because it comes with unlimited refill within the time limit. We couldn’t eat that much, but we liked it. We also ordered three à la carte dishes, which made us full before starting Hot pot as A la cart dishes were served first and I really enjoyed them. The portions were worth the price. Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. There was no warm welcome at the entrance. The waiter never smiled. He only checked on us from behind the counter, asking “are you ok” from far away, instead of coming to the table. As hotpot lovers, we know what we like and don’t like. The raw platter came with vegetables, noodles, meat, and tofu. We didn’t eat the noodles, so they stayed on the plate until he cleared it. Then, the waiter told us, “Next time tell me if you don’t eat udon noodle.” The way he said it surprised and embarrassed us. We had already paid for the full set, so it should not matter. If he had explained earlier, we could have asked to remove the noodles. Since we were the only guests in the hotpot section, I don’t mind if staff left us alone. But at least, they could have checked on us politely. Overall, I may come back again because I love Asian food. But I will not expect much from the service. Maybe next time I will meet a different waiter who is friendlier. Thanks to the chefs who prepared the food.

To have this green space is amazing! Its a brilliant place for little ones with hills to roll, trees to climb, woods to explore and a stream to jump (when shallow)! Wildlife is thriving too! Many a squirrel and parakeet spotted. A great place for families in any season. (Only draw back no toilets.)

I went today with my mum and my partner and we had a fantastic meal. My partner and I shared the chef’s special, while my mum chose the sea bream. Both dishes were spot on – full of flavour, cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Okan deserves a special mention for his friendly and attentive service, which made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a warm, welcoming feel and is a real delight overall.

Absolutely Delicious! The fish and chips were amazing, cooked to perfection, super crispy and full of flavour. The battered sausages are also a must-try, perfectly cooked and so tasty. Me and my work colleagues always get our lunch from George’s Fish Bar as it’s consistently delicious. The owner is always so nice and friendly, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommended!-

I visited KFC Enfield recently and was pleased to find that the food is 100% Halal, which is very important to me. The staff were friendly and my order was served quickly. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted great as expected from KFC. However, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. It was not well maintained at all, which really takes away from the overall experience. I hope the management can address this soon, as cleanliness is just as important as good service and food. Overall, decent food and service, but I’d like to see improvements in hygiene especially in the facilities.

Creams Cafe Enfield

guide name: African Bouye

AVOID AT ALL COST DUE TO MELISSA J AND MANGERS UNPROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP PLUS ITS ICE CREAM PARADING AS GELATO! On the 30/08/25 We stopped at Creams in Enfield, purchased 2 double scoops X 2 & waffle WITH ice cream. We were served by MELISSA J. Some things were missing so we returned to store. Melissa J started screaming that she was SURE she had put everything in the bag I asked if she was calling me a liar she said no, but was sure she had placed everything in the bag. The miniature manager who appeared to be her boyfriend decided to attack me verbally and told another member of staff to hold Melissa J and take her to the back as she appeared enraged and tried to attack me physically. I am writing an email to head office and posting to all social media. To add insult to injury let me show you the scoops which are not gelato but regular ICE-CREAM compared to gelato in Central London for the same price.

We love it! We tried the tuna pizza and the friarelli one, our favorites! Absolutely delicious; they really reminded is of the authentic Italian pizzas we used to in Italy. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the dough light and well-baked, and you can really taste the difference of the wood-fired oven. A proper Italian-style pizza, full of genuine taste and quality.
