Tate Britain
guide name: Cristian CucuEnchanting experience! I enjoyed it so much! At 15:00 there was also an LGBT+ tour where a guide showed some painting related to this community, which was amazing as well! I saw some nice famous painting and many beautiful museums pieces!

Battersea Power Station
guide name: G_A_B OFFICIALBattersea Power Station feels like stepping into a piece of London’s history that’s been given a new life. The sheer scale of the building is breathtaking—the massive chimneys and industrial architecture still dominate the skyline, but now they’re surrounded by glass-fronted shops, restaurants, and open spaces buzzing with people. What I liked most was how the developers managed to keep the character of the old power station intact. Walking through the turbine halls, you can still sense the building’s past, but it’s softened by modern touches like warm lighting, greenery, and stylish design. It doesn’t feel like just another shopping centre—it has a soul. There’s plenty to do: luxury brands if you’re into shopping, casual cafés for people-watching, and even little pop-ups that make it feel more local than corporate at times. The riverside location adds to the atmosphere—you can stroll along the Thames before or after your visit, which makes it feel more like a day out than just a stop to shop. The only downside for me is that some of the prices are definitely on the high side. It feels aimed at a more premium crowd, so if you’re looking for bargains or street-market vibes, this isn’t that place. Still, it’s worth a visit just for the experience and the sense of history meeting modern life. Overall, Battersea Power Station is a landmark reborn—beautifully restored, full of energy, and a must-see if you want to experience a different side of London beyond the usual tourist spots.

The Oval
guide name: Jayesh MohaneWent to watch Day 4 of the England vs India Test Match at The Oval—what an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was incredible: a mix of passionate cheers, playful boos, and constant energy from the crowd. You could really feel the tension and excitement with every ball. The view of the field and players was excellent, and it was easy to stay immersed in the game. There were plenty of laughs and friendly conversations with fellow fans—people around us were super welcoming and happy to chat cricket. There’s a wide variety of food and drink options, from classic fish and chips to Indian food, masala tea, beers, ciders, and soft drinks. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but that’s expected at a stadium, and the quality is solid. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. A fantastic spot to enjoy a day of cricket! The Oval really delivers when it comes to creating a lively, memorable day out. Highly recommend catching a match here!

Park Plaza London Riverbank
guide name: Christie SilsbeOverall I would say this would be more of a 4.5 star review than 4. It was situated in a good spot with a short walking distance to Westminster across the bridge. The hotel itself looked good, had a modern and funky vibe to it. We did run into an issue on our second night where the AC wasn’t working at all. Kudos to the staff, the promptly acted on this and we got relocated to a different room as this was an issue they couldn’t fix in the early morning hours. I would say the AC issue is really the only thing that did bump it down a bit but overall a good place to stay.

Preto Victoria - Brazilian Steakhouse BBQ
guide name: Anne ToddWe had an early lunch midweek. The staff were very friendly, and everything seemed very clean. The food is traditional Brazilian, with a salad bar and huge skewers of meat brought to the table. It wasn’t cheap, so only good value for money if you have a big appetite, but it’s something a bit different. (I chose the vegetarian option, which was very tasty with a good selection to choose from, but fairly expensive for a no-meat meal.) We enjoyed the lunch, and decided the price was fair for London given the quality of the food. There was both inside and outside seating. As we were early and midweek, it was not busy, and was a good place to chat. (Some London venues are too noisy for a conversation.) It’s a very short walk from Victoria Station, so an excellent place to meet friends. The dress code was casual.

Kazan Restaurant
guide name: Charlie WilsonI was in London and looking for a good restaurant. I checked tripadvisor and they recommended this place so I cycled over from London Bridge. The restaurant is very nice, and I was quickly seated. Two of the staff that attended to me, Hamza and Anushri, were very helpful. They gave me their recommendations and talked me through the menu and their choices were lovely. The starter mezze of dips was very nice, some of the best I have had. The sauces were obviously freshly made and complimented the complimentary bread very nicely. The main Ottoman Special was nice as well, it was a nice platter of meats with rice and salad. I have had slightly nicer meats from Turkish restaurants in the UK, however they are hard to find, and this is probably the best option if you are in central London. The prices were alright considering the location, and generally the price of Turkish food is higher in the UK. I would defiantly recommend coming here for a meal!

Seafresh - Fish & Seafood restaurant
guide name: Yeonju LeeThis was honestly the best fish and chips I’ve had in the England! It really makes a difference to come to a place that knows how to do it right. The batter was super crispy, and the fish was thick and juicy — I was so happy with every bite. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind. They even recommended different sauces, and thanks to their suggestion, I tried the chilli sauce — it was amazing! I’d only ever had curry sauce before, but this was a whole new world for me 😚😚🩷 The portion size was also huge, and the calamari was unbelievably fresh — just perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back every time I visit London! 🩷

The Queens Arms
guide name: Amanda FordSo my experience here was really mixed. The food was wonderful and there were lots of gluten free options to choose from on the menu, which is great as I have celiacs (found the place on Atly). But sadly the service is where this place faltered. It was like they couldn't decide if they wanted to be a pub or have table service. When we asked if they were still serving food we got told the menus are over there and they just pointed across the room. We went to the bar to order drinks which was more than fine, but then we found out they take food orders at the table when we went back to the bar to order. But if you want to order more drinks or anything else (like dessert), we had to either go back to the bar to be told they would come over to us or we had to flag down someone to do this and both seemed to be a bit of a bother to the staff. We asked for the bill and it was another 40 minutes or until we paid because no one came back and again we had to flag down one of the staff. I'd really love to recommend this place for the food, but if you are expecting good service maybe try somewhere else.

Fentiman Arms
guide name: Blank SlaateWe came here for a Sunday roast and they did not disappoint. We were welcomed by the hostess and everyone else in the restaurant. They were super accommodating in seating us, and we never had to flag anyone down once we’d been sat at our table. My chicken roast was heavenly; chicken was tasty, juicy, and all the veggies cooked perfectly. The pudding was perfect as well. We had a few starters, and dessert as well. It was my first time but Fentiman’s had been recommended to me by two different groups of people so I knew it had to be good. Atmosphere was nice, everyone was in good spirits and I liked how there was ample space in the establishment. Definitely go there for a superb roast or even just an afternoon hangout.
