Great school, I’m in the school of Applied Science and so far all my professors have been amazing. Open to new feedback on how to improve (lectures and seminars etc) each lecture has uploaded slides and a video, the Lsbu library on Southwark campus is amazing. All the staff I’ve met have been so friendly, informative and patient. 10/10 overall. Best academic decision of my life.

Scam. Run away. Online courses at level 2 lasting only 6 weeks? Requirements as uf you were running level 3 or higher. They are only interested to get your funding. You are not allowed to extend it or do it at your own pace as most of those onlline courses. If you are working and trying to get another qualification to your portfolio - don't waste your time. You'll be charged withdrawal fee as well. Total rip off Britain.

Okay and a good range of gym equipment but desperately needs a clean. The build up on the sink has to be more than a few weeks of not being cleaned, at least. Multiple other reviews comment on the cleanliness and reception staff attitude, so it seems management don't want to address any issues that the business has. Hopefully with the upcoming refurb, they'll want to look after the place.

    London Eye

    guide name: Wayne_Neighbor

If you're in London and looking for a fun, iconic experience, the London Eye is totally worth checking out. It’s one of those things that might seem super touristy, but once you're up there, the views are absolutely stunning. You get a full 360° look at the city — Big Ben, the Thames, Tower Bridge, and even way out to the Shard. On a clear day, it’s unreal. The ride itself is smooth and surprisingly relaxing. Each pod is spacious and air-conditioned, so even if it’s crowded, it doesn’t feel cramped. It takes about 30 minutes to go all the way around, which gives you plenty of time to soak it all in and snap a bunch of photos. Booking online ahead of time is a good idea — saves you from standing in long lines. And if you’re feeling fancy, the fast-track tickets are a nice upgrade. There’s also a cool 4D experience included with some tickets that’s fun, especially for kids. Overall, it’s a great way to kick off your London trip or wrap it up with a bang. Whether you’re solo, with friends, or family, the London Eye is a must-do. Just bring your camera and maybe a snack for the wait

    Big Ben

Big Ben is absolutely stunning and a must-see landmark! The architecture is incredible, and it really lives up to the hype. The only downside was how crowded it gets, especially during peak hours, which makes it a bit hard to enjoy peacefully. Still, definitely worth the visit and a great spot for photos.

Breathtaking Abbey! So many beautiful monuments. The architecture is marvelous. So much to look at you could definitely spend the whole day. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. It is a working church so depending on when you go you might see a daily prayer or two. Gentlemen remember is respectful to remove your hat. It's a must see!

Brilliant throughout, lots of space, although it does get busy. The cafe sells quality produce at a price, great seating area. The toilets are clean, but the hand-wash facilities need attention, it takes twice as long as it should to wash your hands, water is temperamental, soap, good luck, and drying, you'll be better off blowing them dry. However it was a great day out

During my visit to London, I was amazed by the beautiful art inside the museum. The paintings were full of color and emotion, and each one told a different story. I loved walking through the quiet halls and seeing artworks by famous British artists. Some paintings looked so real, while others were very creative and modern. The museum was calm and inspiring, and I felt so happy to see such amazing art. It was a wonderful experience that made me appreciate art even more.

    Churchill War Rooms

    guide name: John Gledhill

The Churchill War Rooms is an incredible piece of world history that is quite unassuming and easy to miss from street level however, step inside and head underground and something rather special unfolds. The discreet entrance is tucked away at a corner of the building and you enter through the glazed doors and copper canopy roof. Stairs or a lift then take you underground to the reception area where you get further information on the war rooms but also, this is where you pick up your audio guide screen and headset that is all included in your ticket price. Toilets are available at this location should you need before you set off. As you start your exploration, each key stage is numbered and corresponds to a spoken and visual recording on your AV equipment. Multiple languages are available and the content is perfect…. Easy to understand and sufficient in detail. It’s hard to imagine that after WW2, this place was simply shut down and left just as the last people down here walked out and locked it up. The Churchill War Rooms is a superb piece of history that is set out to enable people to absorb themselves into the reality of what was going on down here, the significance of their work and life itself. There is so much to see, look at, listen to and watch and you would need a few visits to do it all in detail however, if you allow a couple of hours you will have had a thorough insight and a great experience stepping back in time. Plenty of helpful staff on hand along with a cafe and gift shop should you desire. The Churchill War Rooms is a great experience and something definitely worth doing if you have a couple of hours spare whilst in London.

    SEA LIFE London Aquarium

    guide name: Alex Crisp

Visited the Sea Life Centre in London recently and overall it was a nice day out. There are loads of different species to see — fish, jellyfish, seahorses, rays, starfish, and plenty more. I especially liked the penguins, turtles and crocodiles. The habitats and tanks all looked clean and well looked after, and the animals seemed healthy. There’s even an insect section with spiders and ants, which was a cool surprise. The gift shop is big and has lots of souvenirs to choose from, and there are plenty of toilets around (all clean and accessible). You can grab snacks and drinks throughout the visit, and kids can even get their faces painted, fake tattoos, or braids in their hair — though that does cost extra. On the downside, I did feel a bit sorry for the penguins. Their enclosure seemed quite small, and they looked a little down. The snacks, drinks and photos are all quite pricey, which I guess is to be expected at a tourist spot, but still adds up quickly. Some of the staff also didn’t seem very enthusiastic, and a few parts of the building looked a bit tired and could use a refresh. The biggest downside for me was the ticket price — it’s quite expensive for what you get. Overall, it’s still a fun visit, especially for families or anyone who loves sea life, but it does feel a bit overpriced and could use a bit more care in a few areas.

Had an excellent visit today into one of England's most majestic bits of history. The queue went down quickly and the staff were very helpful. A little pricey at £31 but I suppose the upkeep of a building that is over a thousand years old must be enormous. Overall we had a brilliant day.

    The London Dungeon

    guide name: Nils de Vries

It has taken me years to pluck up the courage to take my son the London Dungeon! My husband joined us, we all loved it. Much more performance based than I realised, it was jump scary but also really good fun! The actors are super especially the pie maker! It got hot down there, noisy and 4D experience so do make sure you are prepared! We got a bit wet! Oh and you can op out of the final ride, a drop ride! Thoroughly recommend it. We all enjoyed a drink in the tavern afterward, very reasonable prices. BTW I am 50, hubby is 53 and our son is 13 years.

    Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge

    guide name: Rizwana Waheed

recently stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better — right across from Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, with stunning views of the London Eye. It’s ideal for sightseeing, with plenty of attractions, restaurants, and transport links within walking distance. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help. My room was spacious, modern, and spotless, with all the amenities you’d expect from a top-tier hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view over Westminster was breathtaking, especially at night. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide range of fresh options — from pastries and fruit to hot dishes and barista-style coffee. The on-site facilities, including the pool, spa, and fitness center, were also impressive and well maintained. Overall, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is perfect for both business and leisure travelers who want comfort, convenience, and a bit of London luxury. I’d definitely stay here again!

    Palace of Westminster

Usually we had an outside perspective of the Houses of Parliament, but this time we went inside for a charity event. What a stunning structure. It's unfortunate that taking pictures is prohibited throughout, but there are plenty of sights to see and spots to sit and enjoy the show. The sculptures of former prime ministers were appealing to me. The rigorous entry security was well-planned. We had a great day and will definitely suggest it to others.

I had an outstanding experience from the moment I arrived. Wail at the front desk was exceptional — polite, professional, and genuinely caring. Everything felt fresh, organised, and welcoming — exactly what you want after a long journey. Overall, a perfect combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Big thanks again to Wail and the team for making it such a smooth and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!
