LSI Independent College

guide name: NEDA JAFARI

I’m incredibly happy with the experience my daughter had at LSI London Sixth Form College. She spent two wonderful years there studying three A-Level subjects, including Art & Design, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the support and education she received. The Art & Design teacher was amazing—so talented, patient, and always ready to help. Dr. Jan, her Business teacher, was equally outstanding, with deep knowledge and a passion for teaching that really inspired my daughter. A special thank you as well to Eda at reception, who was always kind, welcoming, and helpful. Most of all, we are truly grateful to Dr. Iman Hami, the Head of the School. He is not only a great leader but also a wonderful advisor who guided my daughter with care and wisdom throughout her journey. Thanks to the excellent education and support at LSI, my daughter has now progressed to university with fantastic results. A big thank you to all the staff at LSI London—your hard work, dedication, and support have made a real difference in our lives. We are so thankful for everything you’ve done

Got in for typical Sunday roast meal. The presentation of the dish was good and service was friendly and fast. Overall the dish was tasty however the beef version could have another slice of it as just 2 is a bit not much.

Ariana II

guide name: Mona Zare

An Afghan restaurant with a cozy setup and a warm, traditional atmosphere. The place was calm and relaxing, and the staff were fast and professional. There was a lovely lady there who was very friendly and chatted with all the customers! We ordered the Kabuli Pulao, which had a generous portion easily enough for two people, served with a delicious and flavorful sauce on the side. They have service charge, too. Overall, I was really satisfied, it was a great experience and I’d definitely come back.

Elgin - Maida Vale

guide name: Andreea Ungureanu

The Elgin has always been our local pub, close to our hearts, and we’ve always felt it reflected a piece of our style. Choosing it as the place for our wedding party and dinner turned out to be the best decision we could have made. On the wedding day itself, everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make sure we and our guests were happy and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made a huge difference to the whole celebration. The food was served beautifully, the drinks were fun and delicious, and the setup for speeches, music, and dancing worked seamlessly. Even afterward, everything was tidied up so we could simply collect our belongings the next day without stress. We will forever be grateful to The Elgin for helping make our wedding the best day of our lives. We’ll always recommend it as the most amazing place to get married, and we’ll never forget the warmth and professionalism of the team that made it all possible.

The Railway

Ordered and paid for fish and chips. Then I asked about how we get malt vinegar, and they informed me they ran out yesterday. Staff was indifferent and didn’t offer to change my order. If you require malt vinegar with your fish and chips, ask before you order and pay. We ended up buying a bottle of malt vinegar at the local market across the street while we waited for our food. The fish and chips (and garden peas) were excellent.

The Black Lion Pub & Boutique Guesthouse

guide name: Michele Granera

This is such a nice pub and guesthouse. The food in the pub is really good, and I like that it was Indian/Indian-inspired. The room was very nice, with charming details that are as nice as the photos. It was very quiet during my stay and I could not hear other guests. Breakfast is cold continental only but really good quality and variety of items. The location is a little out of the way but I preferred not being in a busy area, it was very easy to access the tube, train, and bus stops, and it was a lot less expensive than more central locations. Overall I would definitely recommend a stay here.

This is an absolute gem of a pub…cozy, welcoming, and serving some of the best traditional English food we’ve ever had. We tried the roasts, the pies, the coleslaw… everything was spot on. But the real star? The sticky toffee pudding. I’m still emotionally recovering – it was that good. A must if you’re in London and craving comfort food done right!

Last night I visit Everyman for the first time, I have always wanted to come but aware of higher prices I was waiting for the right time. I want to especially thanks Lucy for explaining how Everyman works and make sure we felt looked after from the beginning to the end of our visit. Went for the Sunday roast. If you’d like the pork I’d suggest getting there early. However, the lamb was just as good. A very good portion of meat that is well cooked, flavourful and tender. Potatoes could be crispier but still enjoyable. Overall, the vegetables, sides and meat were highly enjoyable

Camden Art Centre

guide name: Lufu Design

After my first visit back in 3-4 years ago,I made my way back to Camden Art Centre today 🙌 The last time I visited an art gallery was in Barcelona this past Spring, so it felt wonderful to dive back into the vibrant art scene right here in my neighbourhood. 🌿 The current exhibition, “All Rendered Truth” by Lonnie Holley, was a standout experience. Holley’s work is deeply evocative, blending raw emotion with intricate storytelling. His paintings are rich with texture and colour, each one telling a unique story that draws you in and makes you reflect. The visual/video art was even more captivating, combining powerful imagery with thought-provoking themes. It’s an exhibition that lingers in your mind long after you leave the gallery. ✨ Post-exhibition, the staff kindly asked me to fill out a survey, and in return, I got a coupon for a free hot drink at their lovely café. ☕ I remembered the café and garden from my last visit, and they’re still as charming as ever. It’s clear why so many locals come here for a peaceful moment. It felt wonderful to reconnect with art so close to home. If you haven’t been in a while, I highly recommend a visit! 👍🎉👍🎉
