Making An Offer
Once you find the right home to rent in London, you need to complete an application form (otherwise known as a Holding form). On this form, you must state any special conditions you wish to include. You must also provide proof of address and identity.
When we have all the information we need, we will then discuss your offer with the landlord.
What Happens When The Landlord Accepts Your Offer?
Once you and the landlord agree on the terms and conditions of your tenancy, we will go through a number of steps to complete the process.
First, we will check the references you gave us. We will then perform a credit check to confirm you have the financial means to rent the property.
When we confirm that you are a suitable tenant, we will oversee the signing of the tenancy agreement, before collecting your deposit and first month’s rent.
Time To Move In To Your New Home
Once all of the above are complete, it is now time to move in to your new home. Your inventory clerk will greet you as you arrive. They will help you check in and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable.
Your clerk will also draw up an inventory report. This describes the condition of your new home in detail and acts as proof that you are not to blame for any pre-existing damage. After receiving your copy of the inventory report, you have 10 days within which to request any changes.
